***** ****** STOLE OUR MONEY and stopped responding while never completing any of the design work promised. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

We had connected with ***** to build a custom home for us here in Colorado. We explained our budget, and what we were looking to achieve over multiple phases of building and expansion, and he was very clear that he could work with us to achieve our goals.

So we hired a home designer online to start the design process and get it 75% done, and ***** was going to finish it to make it presentable to our bank so we could get the loan and the land to build on.

As soon as we turned the designs over to *****, and sent him a check for his fee for finishing the designs, he disappeared and stopped responding to all messages, but he still cashed the check.

That was about 8 months ago now, and we're now having to go the legal route to get our money back.

Not only did we not get the design work finished on our house in the time we were promised, but because of this massive delay, we've lost our on our opportunity to buy affordable land.

All-in-all, I can't recommend enough how much you should choose anyone other than ****** Design-build to work with.

We did some consulting work for ****** and******* for a residence in Colorado. They paid a small retainer for us to begin.

The clients hired a ********* architect online. The design was really interesting with a minimalist feel, but it was not designed for local building codes, and completely out of their budget. The existing architect was unable to design it to meet building codes, and the client would not hire a local architect to bring the plans to a point where they could be built. It was a really weird situation.

After consulting on the client's project for several months, we determined that the project wasn't feasible given the budget constraints and features they wanted in their project. We calculated our hours spent on the project, and returned 50% of the unused retainer back to the client.
