In May 2015, I hired Brentwood Flooring to install new flooring throughout my entire townhome for close to $10,000.00 My sales rep was ***** *****, and she sold me on ******* luxury vinyl plank flooring. Ms. ***** assured me that with this flooring, it would hold up to lots of traffic and furniture. In Sept. 2019, I emailed Brentwood flooring and told them that boards were separating and had dents in the floor. These dents and separating of floors were in areas where there was furniture, and in areas where there was no furniture. Mr. **** ***** replied by email "This is not uncommon over time as this is a floating floor system. This may sound strange, but you may be able to push those planks back into place by using a rubber soled shoe. Just put the shoe on and try pushing the plank with a little force (as though you are kicking your shoe on the floor to make a squeaking noise on a gym floor). It might take a few attempts, but the rubber sole should provide enough grip to move the planks back into position." I did as he emailed, and it worked. But over the past few years, I keep having the same issues throughout my house, and doing the same thing to fix it. The floating floors keep separating, but in different areas. They are also rising, so if you rub your hand across the floor, it's uneven. In addition, I have a few dents in the floor from my standing furniture (even though I use floor protectors), as well as dents in areas that does not have standing furniture. I contacted the manufacturer, *******, and they said I need to file a claim, but it has to come through my floor installers. My floors are still under warranty through the installer and manufacturer. So, in Feb. 2022, I emailed Mr. ***** about the same problem, including the dents and rising floor (so if you rub your hand across the floor, it's uneven). I stressed that I was tired of kicking my boards back together, and that I have always used floor protectors under my furniture. I wanted to file a claim
