My truck and trailer were towed from an accident site by Bricen towing and they have been paid in full for their service but the owner wants to keep the "good stuff" which he referred while I was negotiating a resolution to the balance that he is racking up for storage of the totalled truck and trailer. He is not working with me to split the "good stuff" and pay any remaining balances. He want me to pick up a totaled inoperable truck and trailer or sign over the title so he can sell engines, rims, reefer unit, parts and etc. I dont mind that if it was reasonable but the values of the parts, egnine is a lot morew than any storage fees for a month, All I needed was the reefer unit and have asked for his cooperation, but he keeps saying its junk and no good and for me to call back in a week while racking up the storage fees and asking for title. On his first call he wanted 20K wired to remove the truck and trailer. They did not want to bill insurance and wanted money from me directly. I never called these people, the state troopers contacted Bricen Towing. I know others owner operators thst he has squeezed and kept their trucks. After a week I wired 10K and my insurance sent the rest of the balances. Thye were paid for all the towing and recovery three weeks ago. For three weeks I have been trying to resolve the storage. Bill wants to keep everything "good stuff" plus get the title and collect storage. He tells me to call back and call back while he is racking up storage. This business practice is predatory and must stop. I will find every agency and department that monitors and licenses Bricen. I will do everything in my power to stop them from stealing from and abusing truckers. I was very responsive and professional during all calls but he hung up the phone today. I was not disrespectful or aggressive but he prefers a stupid scared immigrants who gives up. I am an immigrant in charge of a team that wont give up!
