    This transaction began in February, 2022 when I discovered I had a leak in the water line that leads from the water meter to my residence. I pay a monthly fee for protection of this water line(if there is a leak it gets fixed at no additional cost to me). A plumber was assigned to do the repair and they began the repair( four months later). The repair was completed on May 16, 2022. The repair is to include restoration of the area after the leak is repaired. The repair process required the digging of four large holes on my property, all on which I keep the grass mowed. The holes were filled in but never raked level but grass seed was thrown on the uneven ground, which could not be mowed when the grass grew. Prior to there work, I talked to the people who did the work and explained what I expected and they said they understood. They replied that the ground would sink after time. I told them I understood that but I wanted the ground level for a start. They did one area(around the water meter ) satisfactory but as soon as I left them on their own they left the job site without doing any leveling effort and just throwing grass seed over the areas. I called the organization providing the protection coverage and they advised me that they couldn't do anything about the situation. I consider both the Geiger Plumber organization and the ***** ********* ********** ****** to be negligent in this matter. No documentation of any kind was provided with this transaction. In past experiences with this type of work, the contractor would provide documentation that identified approval of the finished job by the customer(me) signing off on the paper work. This is no longer is the practice, which leaves the customer quite vulnerable to fraud.

    Service received was okay but the billing was deceptive and unethical.I was told on the phone there would be $40 charge for a service call and an additional $125 an hour for time and labor. The technician came the next day and was able to get the hot water heater working again by blowing through an obstructed tube with his mouth. He was on the premises ***** minutes, showed us how to do this ourselves if it happens again, and said we would receive an invoice. We were billed $40 for the service call as expected but $125 for time and labor. I complained in writing when I paid the bill. A representative called and explained their policy is to charge a minimum of $125 for time and labor.I asked him and he agreed to run my complaint by the boss, Mr. ********************* who did not respond.I paid $165 for a few minutes of service for something which I could have been told over the phone how to correct. I originally called them because they installed this water heater when the prior one, that had a home warranty/insurance policy, had to be replaced. The insurance company had chosen them. I can no longer trust this business and will not be calling them again.

    ***************************,I do see that we were recently at your property to fix an issue with your water heater. As discussed with you prior to arriving our labor rate of $125 per hour with a 1 hour minimal and a $40 dollar service call is what our rate is for a water heater call. you agreed to these charges. The water heater was out of warranty for labor but still covered under warranty for parts. I am sorry you are not happy with our prices but these were given to you prior to us coming out. I do not see how you can no longer trust our company when everything was presented to you prior to the work beginning?
