            Benson was my alarm monitoring company for my Rental property in **, until I was appalled at their negligence, lack of follow up and avoidance in communicating to me about resolution to the issues. - The alarm panel at my Rental property in AZ was not communicating with Benson's monitoring for an unknown # of months and I was NEVER made aware of an issue. I paid this company $49.95 every month via my bank's Bill **** with NO SERVICES RENDERED. By accepting my money and not providing a service, this essentially is fraud. - On 4/21/23, I became aware there was NO ALARM MONITORING when I reached out to **************** regarding an upcoming tenant vacancy, ensuring I could remotely arm the alarm and if there was a different process to updating the call structure. Customer Svc advised there is no alarm communications. After revisiting emails, there was a cell upgrade discussed in 10/2021; however, that was never finalized. No further communications regarding this. - After several unsuccessful attempts to resolve the issue with Benson, I canceled my monthly bill pay and hired another company to monitor the alarm so my Rental property would be secured while vacant.- My alarm rep finally called me to offer providing service at a discount. I declined and advised i want a refund for each month I paid when there was no alarm comms. If they didnt agree, I would be submitting disputes w/ my bank. - The Director of Service also offered free services for the # of months there was no alarm comms, but I advised I have a new company and want a refund. - On 5/26/23, I initiated multiple disputes with my bank and we have continued to call Benson WEEKLY. - On 7/14/23, Benson FINALLY agreed to refund me $349.65 (7 months @ $49.95), not the full # of months w/o service.- As of 8/8/23, I STILL do not have a check & feel I am owed more at this point.- An alarm company's purpose is to monitor alarms. Benson thinks it's ok NOT TO monitor alarms, but still accept $ for it.
