      I wanted to file a claim. I was told someone would contact me tomorrow. It has now been 4 months .. no communication except for my attempts to contact Allstate! **************** is totally incompetent! I request contact after business hours as I work. My premium is paid yet I have no idea what service I purchased. They lie lie lie! Im the customer yet Im being an inconvenience. I have yet to receive a claim number. I did however receive unsolicited legal advice from a 22 year old customer ********* this point I consider ********************** entirely at fault!!

      Allstate Identity Protection has to be one of the most useless services on the planet. The only thing they do well is take your money. Beyond that, burning your money outright would provide you the same amount of service. I happen to get this service through my employer. Once we have open enrollment elections for **** I will NOT be renewing this service.What I do not like about this service is they tell you about breaches or monitoring finding your email on the dark web. But they provide NO helpful information in resolving the problem or getting more information to help you resolve the problem. Their answer to everything is just change your password everywhere. That is not helpful for those of us who have different passwords everywhere (using a password manager with long random passwords). I have had my email address for 30+ years. My email is everywhere and linked to every account I have. But the password is different at every location it is used. So changing my password in thousands of location is pointless. But they don't give you any information to help narrow down where the comprise was found or anything that can help. So again, I am paying for a useless service. They have called me about this in the past, and claim they don't list that information in the portal for security reasons. Two things, I don't want to talk to your customer service via phone every time there is a problem. That is the point of having a portal so I can do everything through the portal myself, I don't want to talk to your people. Second, if your portal is that insecure that you won't use it yourself, then I don't want ANY of my information with your company.Also, most the social media links either never work, or expire way too often. At the end of the day, I am not getting value from this service, so I will not be renewing, and do not recommend them for anyone for any reason. Unless you like blowing your money on nothing.

      I have never signed up for this service and they keep sending me emails telling me about my account. Any reply to them telling me to get the h*** out of my mail and close any accounts in my name as I NEVER EVER NOT ONCE signed up with them. They tell me to log into my account to cancel. I never signed up for an account. This smells very phishy to me. I do not want any large insurer or other collective of corporate idiots having my data. I want nothing to do with any of them. They are all crooks.

      Keeps deleting or losing my account info (with no notice of changes or issue) even as the price has nearly doubled. I want my money back for all the months you have not had my info on file except for my payment info!!

      I have not received any calls and the "direct" number provided took me to yet another generic customer service line. I will have to elevate this complaint due to your lack of professional response.

      This service is useless. Texted and email me saying my address and additional member had been changed (which I did not do). Then when I tried to get into my account, it wouldn't work, neither would the password reset options (tried several) and then sat on hold for 40 mins, three separate times and each time was disconnected with no response. Now when I try to get into my account, it ways I've tried too many times and to wait and call customer service. What a joke. When I can actually get into my account, I am dropping them. HORRIBLE customer service. They don't even have a chat option for customer service. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

      I have been trying for 2-3 months to get my account reset so I can log in and check my account status, credit score and any alerts. I have spend countless hours on the phone with different people and no help. I have send countless emails with no support / help!

      I had this service for several years and it's been pretty much useless. But now they emailed me a new option of scanning my Digital Footprint. That implies, they would create a report based on my personal information, by running queries across Internet to check where my information exists.In reality, this seems more intrusive than that. When I tried to "create the report" for my digital footprint, The system is asking to link it with one of my email accounts. Sure, I have Gmail, so I linked it and gave the default access from Gmail to Allstate Digital Footprint. But I kept getting an error that Allstate cannot connect to my account. I called customer service and was told I need to log out of gmail from all devices I'm logged into (phones, tables, PCs)... What?!?! It means Allstate is not just connecting to Gmail to verify account. There is much more Allstate is doing, and once logged out and they can connect, after the user logs back in, they can monitor and track all his activities. That is not a report of current digital footprint. That is a PRIVACY VIOLATION!!!!!

      ALLSTATE ID monitoring does not alerted has not alerted me of anything. This whole time I was cover, at least I thought and no I guess I was being ripped off by the bad guys from one end (those stealing my accounts online) and the "good Guys" Allstate the protectors of my credit and Identity. No they don't monitor anything I can guarantee you that. If you call in they will give you excuses and acted annoyed that you are bothering them. DO NOT GET THIS SEERVICE., there is too much Identity theft going on and it only promotes these companies that give you the false advertising to make you think you are covered but you are NOT COVERED. They can get away with the "fine Print" but not if we last them and there associates stop using them.

      got this protection and two weeks after still had no alerts. but got several alerts from my free credit montoring ( offered by credit cards) makes me wonder what there doing! also in order to cancel you have to send an email can't just cancel with a click of a button like signing up and taking your money info. sent cancel email with ID #, DOB, and last 4 . They sent email back with ***** # and said they needed more info! and when i called guess what info they wanted in order ID #, DOB, and last 4! had to go through 3 people all trying to up sell and one very rude rep !! stay away from this service!!
