Brand new system install had a multitude of issues that took months and months to solve. Also had to have another company re do the wiring on the unit as it was not done correctly by ******** techs. Owner very unwilling to acknowledge the incorrect install, and did not honor his word that he would cover the cost to have it done correctly.Brewers Air Conditioning & Heating LLC Response

****** we both know this is not true. To quote you pay this other companies bill or I will give you bad reviews. Well you are doing that and I still am not paying for that bill. After you finally realized the other company did not know what they were doing you called me and it was my guys that came and diagnosed the real problem and fixed it. Like we talked about ****** it was a Manufactures part that failed. It happens they are mechanical pieces of equipment and failure can happen. Thankfully you have warranty or I also would be billing you.Review from Ann F

My thermostat is set at 80 and the house is showing the temp at 83, which is why I called Brewers to come out in the first place. I paid $99.00 and nothing has changed. I was given a quote of over $1,000 to do a leak check and add coolant. The ac unit is 14 years old so it is foolish of me to spend that much money when I will probably replace it in January. It would have been nice if the technician could have just added the Rd310.or whatever it is called now.I wont call Brewers again. $99.00 and my AC is still not cooling my house. Im retired and cant afford to flush money down the toilet.I gave you 2 stars because the technician was very nice. *******Brewers Air Conditioning & Heating LLC Response

Barbara, I have read your review and I hope others do to. Your complaint is you paid $99 for us to come out and diagnose you have a refrigerant leak in your 14 year old ac system. We legally can not just dump refrigerant in an ac system with a leak. An attempt to find the leak, fix it, then add refrigerant is not cheap but legally what we have to do. On a positive note this but could potentially get you 2-5 year additional life on your ac unit. For systems that fail again with in a year we credit up to 50% toward a new unit installation so money is not wasted. Most people will replace an ac unit with your issues but still want a repair option which is what we gave you. Your complaint is not valid, if I am missing something please call in so we can talk about so we can try and help. To Add to this response being retired and on a fixed budget does not excuse you to slander my company just because you do not agree with the law.Review from Trini M

1st service call- Technician came out to check our unit which was blowing hot air. After more than $1500 of added freon, we asked him about why it was so much and were there any leaks. His response was "I don't know, I didn't check" What the Heck!! Why would a professional technician add 7 lbs of freon, costing me over $1500 and not check for leaks. Well, lord and behold, 3 weeks later, our unit was blowing hot air again. 2nd service call - Same technician came out for issues with another unit. He told us we needed an indoor motor for this unit. Because he failed to provide proper service during the first service call, I asked a lot of questions regarding the repairs needed on this second unit. He was not happy with my questions and responded "Im outta here"When we finally were able to speak to ****, the owner, his response was "he shouldn't have said that, we always check for leaks". That was it. We are out over $1500 and had to pay another company to repair the leak on the first unit and repairs on the 2nd unit. **** refuses to refund any money for the bad service done by his technician.Brewers Air Conditioning & Heating LLC Response

Trini we both know you are only telling half the truth. You had another company come out to fix the problem my technician diagnosed because he was cheaper. Then when your system broke again you called us again and I sent the same technician out because he is familiar with your seven ac systems. When my technician told you that the other company fixed the wrong system ******************* got upset and started cussing at my technician so my technician packed up and left. Regardless your ac systems are all over twenty years old and all need to be replaced because you can't keep adding refrigerant the problem needs to be fixed or replaced. We have serviced your units for over twenty years and have done that mostly discounted and now that your systems are old and problematic you want to act like its my companies fault and its not guess no good deed goes unpunished. Quickly fixed the cap in unit that would not turn on but declined to check other older ac unit while he was here. I was told he though it might create a problem to open. Not sure why since they open it for every tune-up? So 20 minutes and $350 later I have one working AC, but no effort to even check the other one. **** I called and left you a message when you get the message please give me a call. I want to make sure you are taken care of. We work very hard to take care of our customers and take extreme pride in that so we want to make sure you are taken care of. With that said I wish you would of called the office to express your concern before you just stabbed at our BBB, seams a little drastic to give us a review on an ac unit we were not even scheduled to look at. ******************* and personable workers at Brewers! ******* was all that and more. He explained the issue with my wifi connection to the thermostat and gave me direction on how to fix the issue. ******* took time to make my dog feel comfortable with a stranger in the house before doing a check in my 2 units.
