Contract #********* $12,656 revised/approved August 31, 2021. Work included driveway restructuring, grading , adding more gravel for proper compaction, drainage. It included removal of front steps, new interlocking stones. Sept 1, 2021 - Bulgari came with their crew and trucks. Before 2 p.m. their crew and truck left already when their owner ***** ************* apprised us for work completion/inspection & payment. When they were paving and compacting our driveway, I could watch from my window upstairs that some crew was manually compacting while ***** was running his compressor. I could see uneven levels between mid garage (two doors) to left side of driveway. ***** would not come back immediately to fix the construction problems. Our left garage door could not close down completely as it had a gap, space slanting. Sept. 5, 2021 - three pools, strips of water forming on driveway, took photos, sent to Bulgari, asking for their return to fix deficiencies with supporting photos. Mid September, 2021, Bulgari 's workman came and added asphalt on our garage lip to fill in the gap but refused to do other work. Oct 1, 2021 - I sent in a follow-up for remedial work. Bulgari's Office Manager replied that they had not forgotten our work but would schedule us in when they were in *******, next. Oct. 18, 2021, Bulgari's Manager replied that "We will not and can not add asphalt over top of asphalt. It will not look nice. This is not something we do. The only thing we can do is try to heat up and tamp down the asphalt a bit more to get it to drain more." No delivery and winter set in. May 5, 2022- I sent Bulgari an email - Scheduling of return to correct deficiencies, strips and areas of dips uneven paving/construction of driveway. May 5, 2022, Bulgari email us they would only fix the dip near garage corner and would not rectify the rest even though apparent strips of water & (ice in winter) was collecting.
