We spent $1,100 for very basic work. It was not completed well and they bailed on us midway through the job, leaving us without a useable backyard. When the workers arrived (with the owner) for the clean-up, they spent 1.5 hours on our property. From a distance, the job seemed to be well-done and an improvement to the space. After they left, we took a closer look and were disappointed to find that it felt very rushed. After immediately spending 2 hours of my own time cleaning up more dead trees, etc., its still not completely done. I wasnt super upset since I knew they still had to come back to do the sod and that we could address remaining work at that time.. but since I had managed to remove additional waste, I called the owner to see if his crew could swing by and use their wood chipper to remove the waste. I was polite and apologized for the inconvenience just asking in case they were still in the area. In response, he immediately got defensive and told me that they would not be returning to finish the sod job. I was super shocked and confused, and I apologized if I had offended him in some way, but his only reply was that after 31 years in business when customers get nit-picky its not worth my time. When I tried to apologize again he contradicted what he told us originally and said I shouldnt have taken this job anyway, your yard was too overgrown and ended the conversation.I want to be clear that when I called, I was polite and friendly I was not upset, aggressive, and even complimented them on the work they did (despite it being subpar). I was COMPLETELY shocked when he told me he wouldnt be returning. It was out of nowhere.A follow up call to the company resulted in no further explanation, except that the services we booked would not be completed. I would never recommend this business to anyone.
