However, they have not yet returned my security deposit. ******** law requires that the rental agency have their rental criteria listed on their website prior to application so you know whether or not you should apply ahead of time.******** law also requires that if you are denied tenancy, your rental security deposit is returned within 24 hours as you will not be a tenant.We are in the middle of a housing crisis all over *****************. If corporations keep people's deposits, what is the point of them ever renting to anyone if they get to keep money they haven't earned? This feels like a scam! I am seeking a full reimbursement of my security deposit. I applied for myself and my husband.

            We adopted a cat back in February and registered it to the pet screening website that our apartment complex uses. They never put the pet on their records and after we had to euthanize our dog several months later, they now want to charge me $600 for a pet fee($300) and deposit($300), when I have already paid for a pet deposit and a fee for our dog who is now deceased. They are charging me half of the price of rent for a "new" pet. They should have charged me back in February when we first adopted him and now since our dog is no longer with us they should have transferred the deposit and not have charged me for a second deposit on top of another pet fee. I find this to be scummy behavior and have the impression that Al Angelo Company is out to take every ***** from you that they can.
