Senestraro Orthodontics agreed to share the Clincheck but the timeline below will show that was not their intent. I was misled and the agreement was never honored.11/14/22 I started treatment with Dr S*** at Senestraro Orthodontics as a Invisalign transfer patient. The doctor agreed to share the Clincheck before ordering the aligners, so I accepted, and a scan was completed the same day. 11/16/22 I signed the contract based on the agreement made on 11/14/22.11/22/22 Patient chart confirmed they agreed to share Clincheck before ordering aligners.11/28/22 ****** text message states, Clincheck has no value and doctor does not go over the Clincheck with patients.12/19/22 ****** text message states, the doctor does not send Clinchecks for patient approval. She also asked if I trust Dr S*** and if I prefer I can a find a doctor that would allow me to approve my own Clincheck.12/20/22 ****** emails the Clincheck link but it was for the doctor's login portal.12/20/22 Patient chart states I would view the Clincheck and notify office by next day so doctor can order the aligners.12/20/22 I emailed ****** regarding the wrong Clincheck link.12/21/22 ****** emails same bad link for second time 12/21/22 ****** emails and states, disregard the link because doctor has not worked on my treatment yet. Please note, on 11/128/22 ****** states doctor will complete treatment in 1 to 2 weeks.12/21/22 Although it has been close to a month, I thanked ****** for the update and continued to wait for the Clincheck link.12/22/22 I was expecting the Clincheck link, but without notice I receive a text message dismissing me from treatment. ****** states, I get the impression you wanted to view the Clincheck before the aligners were ordered. Dr S*** states, Clincheck is a clinical tool, and the request to view it before ordering aligners was out of the ordinary.1/27/22 Invisalign customer support confirmed the Clincheck is how you can expect your teeth to move.1/3/23 I receive a full refund.I requested my entire records but only received partial records on a word document. I asked for the office managers help, she provided more records which included the Clincheck.After revieing Invisalign prescription, I found the doctor reported I was wearing aligner #30 when I was only on #10. Due to receiving partial records and the wrong aligner wear reported to Invisalign, I requested to inspect my records at the office to mitigate any problems inaccurate information may cause my next orthodontist. The office manager scheduled a time and day, but Dr S*** called and asked me to not call or come to the office.I called a lawyer, they confirmed per Hipaa rule, individuals have the right to inspect PHI and or receive copies of the original records.In conclusion, I am filing this complaint because Senestraro Orthodontics not only breached an agreement made which was confirmed in the charts, but they also violated my Hipaa right denying me access to inspect my PHI. This experience has caused me undue stress and loss of valuable time.
