Not to dismiss the other reviewer's experiences, but I had a positive warranty claim. I had a problem where the knife sheath wouldnt stay on the straps anymore due to the straps being a bit too short and the velcro starting to failing. I contacted Gerber and they took care of it.Granted, it took them a REALLY long time to respond, and I did send one follow up email asking if they received the intial contact, but they eventually contacted me asking for more info and some photos. It then took them quite a while to ship a replacement out, but thats to be expected. A company's priority is to process and ship new orders over warrantly claims.They sent me 2 replacement sheaths, so I cannot complain one bit.Restored my faith in the company. I was pretty worried after looking at the complaints.Review from Michael B

ZERO ***************** Phones are disconnected and multiple ****************** emails go unanswered after weeks. Doors are locked to the public . Mediocre products with TERRIBLE customer service - as in NONE. Good luck if you have a warranty issue or problem with an order- which I will never do again with them! Their customer service does not exist. I bought my grandson a Bear Gryls knife since I know he really likes him and he was so excited when I told him he could have the knife for his first Boy Scout trip. So on the camp out he opened the knife and it when he went to close the knife which is done by depressing a spring loaded button. When he let go of the button it went flying off into the brush never to be seen again. When I spoke to him after the camp out he told me I bought him junk and everyone laughed at him. Which made me feel like a jerk. I have since contacted Gerber three times about this matter and they do not respond to my request for a replacement knife.
