Took my new used vehicle in to have repairs done on our catalytic converter. The dealership offered to foot the **** for it since we just bought a few days earlier. I received a call the same day we dropped the vehicle off and they said they have a policy to have the window rolled down while working on the vehicle and that our motor in our window broke and it would cost us $250 dollars to repair. I was angry because the window had worked fine up until that point with no signs of anything not working right. Then they said they would call us on Thursday and let us know when the vehicle would be done. They never called so we drove across town to go get our vehicle only to find the shop had been closed. I called they're phone number and was told by the gentleman that they were waiting to here from us and we wouldn't be able to get our vehicle back until the following Monday. I was very irate as we have a 3 year old boy who was sick and we weren't able to get to the store for food or medicine without taking a bus in the snow. They called me on Monday morning around 10:30 and asked if I wanted to pay for the window so I can get my car back and I did even though I didn't want to. When I got to the shop they gave me my **** and there was no info on the converter work that had been done so I asked for a copy of the work and they gave me a **** for that and the price was $186 dollars so we ended up paying more for the window that worked fine when we dropped it off then the dealership did for the converter. Everyone at this shop had bad attitudes when I tried to question anything. I am sure I was robbed but as I know nothing about cars or the way shops work I'm screwed. I just don't want anyone else to have to go through what we had to endure because of this shops lack of communication and dirty practices.
