      On Weds, August 30th, called the car doctor to have a health report and diagnostic on my vehicle. Online The Car Doctor states free health report, a comprehensive report of your vehicles current condition complete with photos and recommendations from our trained technicians. I asked if they had appointments available and if they work on Mini Coopers. I specifically asked over the phone if I would be charged for anything and ******** said I wouldnt be charged until a full diagnostic was complete and we went over the paperwork and signed off on the work to be completed. I told her we both worked and would be using the key drop to drop the vehicle that night. The next day the technician called to tell my husband that the engine was catastrophic. My husband asked to not have anymore work done on the vehicle. My husband went in after work and went over the diagnostic report with Technician *****************************. *** said he charged the battery, ran diagnostics and threw a Cam Sensor code. He then tried to turn the motor over, crankshaft was turning but camshaft was not. He declared catastrophic engine and nothing more was done. He did not remove the valve cover to see why the camshaft was not moving. He said he didnt work on mini coopers except to install a new motor. My husband asked for a copy of the diagnostic report and was told it would be emailed to him which it wasnt. He was charged $269.93 for labor and $21.59 for parts. When he got home, I explained what was communicated to me on the phone. I went in the next day to discuss what I was charged for and why I was charged $300 when that wasnt communicated to me upfront. I was told that I was charged labor for the hour and a half that the car was on the battery charger. Frustrated, I asked to speak with the owner and was told he is on vacation until Tuesday. I asked to have him call me. I called Tuesday, Friday, Monday, without a call back. Called following Tuesday, *******************, owner, said he would not reimburse me.
