      I have waited over a month and a half for approval on my warrenty to cover my engine being replaced and still have not received an answer. I have called and called and received no update, then i was told email was better and im still not receiving aby responses or anything. I have had to pay for rentals which has cleaned out my savings and now im stuck paying monthly on a lemon i was sold from this dealership. I have had various family members purchase vehicles from them and i just feel like im being looked over because its a warranty issue. But im paying monthly on a car that isnt driveable and rentals i have to use in the meantime. I cant afford both. I need a resolution or i will have to get legal people involved

      Contacted dealership about a Nissan Leaf SV listed at $27,795 ($30,295 minus $2500 in "savings"). Was referred to speak to the sales manager to put down a refundable $500 deposit over the phone to lock in an incentive APR that would have expired by the delivery date of the vehicle. Placed deposit, received a copy of the window sticker for a different vehicle (different color and VIN) of the same SV trim level for over $5000 more than the price listed online. When pressed, sales manager admitted that this price included a $2995 market adjustment and >$800 in accessories that are "not on an online price". Even disregarding that those additions are about $1200 short of the new sales price they only dropped on me AFTER I made my deposit, no mention was made from their end about my deposit being applied to a DIFFERENT CAR than the one I initially contacted them about. Just scummy practice. Save your money and buy elsewhere, just check BBB first.

Nissan of Portland is committed to providing top-notch customer service. We do this by standing on principle and trust through transparency, respect, and good communication.After deep-diving into the email threads and further communications between you and our staff, it does not appear pricing was ever discussed on either purchase price or trade-in values. The $500 refundable deposit we took was to simply reserve this specific vehicle you inquired about in your name and secure the 0.9% APR. Please know that your $500 deposit was put down on the exact vehicle you initially inquired about with VIN ending: NC561434. The color, trim, and MSRP never changed. Depending on how far along the vehicle is in the build process, the window sticker may not be accessible so we may have sent out a similar vehicle build sheet for a point of comparison. Your $500 refundable deposit was refunded on April 4, 2022. It can take up to 10-days for it to process back to your account. If you have not received this refund in the next few days, please reach out so we can make sure to correct this.We thank you for bringing this matter to our attention so that we may work on ways to improve this in the future. Again, we are truly sorry for any lack of communication regarding pricing, trade-in value, and vehicle information.       I contacted Nissan of Portland via chat. I was talking to a salesman named ****** He was quick to answer my questions. Unfortunately he was answering them all incorrectly. According to the website they had a Nissan Leaf for sale for $25,444. I asked him if that was the correct price. He compared VIN numbers and said that was the sale price. I asked him if it included any state or federal tax credits or rebates. He said that the price did not reflect any rebates, but there were state and federal rebates available. I asked him if there were any additional costs other than the standard taxes and title. He said that there wasn't. I scheduled an appointment to come in and test drive the car. He showed me the car and then the sales manager told me that wasn't the price of the car. ***** said that he was sure it was. He checked and came back and said that the price was about $9,000 higher. The website and the salesman were very misleading to the point of lying to me. This is the second issue I've had with this dealership and either they are incompetent or just lie to their customers. Either way they are not someone to do business with.
