Hannah was very helpful and transparent throughout the process which is always appreciated . She provided in depth insight on the vehicle and was knowledgeable about the overall process. This dealer scammed me when purchasing my 2022 Hyundai Kona EV back in July of 2022. A Car that has an MSRP of $41,550 They got me to pay $65,000 for because of their "regional mark-up" on Electric Vehicles what a scam. I put $15,000 down payment on my car, and my loan ended up being $50,036.43 on a car with an MSRP of $41,500. What a complete scam. They trick you by negotiating your payment instead of what you're paying for the car. Now I'm upside down on a car that I put a $15,000 down payment on. This car now has a KBB Value of $36,000 and I have a loan out on it for $46,000. This just goes to prove that Dealers are scam artist and this dealership is the worst. I DO NOT recommend D*** Hannah Hyundai or ********** to anyone!! They will scam you out of your money and make it seem like you're getting a good deal.Dick Hannah Hyundai of Portland Response

We are grateful to receive feedback from our guests. It is never our intention to have someone end up unhappy with their purchase transaction. We take these very seriously and are always looking for ways to improve. We have reviewed your purchase contract in detail.
The first thing that caught our attention was that the **** of your Kona EV was not $41,500 as you had stated in the complaint, but $44,230. It is true that a market adjustment of $9995 was applied to the purchase price. That followed suit with the market of supply and demand in July 2022. We were all still in the midst of a material shortage, which in turn severely crippled production of not just Hyundai models, but all vehicle manufacturers.
In reviewing further, we can see that you had also paid nearly $1700 in fees,including licensing fees and state taxes. Those were unavoidable. In addition, we can see that you had opted in for several aftermarket warranties coverages, Theft protection, Appearance protection, GAP insurance and window tint for the Kona. All of which are and were 100% optional on your part.
In terms of the current value of your EV, it is unfortunate, but we have seen a 30% decrease in trade values over the last 12 months due to the saturation of the market with brand new EV models.
In scenarios like this, we are always committed to seeing if we can work through your frustrations, and see if we can sit down and go over each line item to discuss potential solutions for you.
Our General Sales Manager ******************* has reached out to you via phone this afternoon, so we are hopeful that we hear back from you in order to potentially schedule an in-store meeting with both you, and him to take a better look at the contract together.

Predatory servicer, I will not be returning. There is no reason why an oil change, injector cleaning, and new air filters should be $500+. I needed to get my oil changed but opted out of the horrifically overpriced air filter and injector cleaner. I feel as if I was not a young female, the quoted price would have been much less. And while I was waiting the 2+ hours it took to change my oil, someone had the nerve to approach me and try adamantly to sell me a new car. And then to top it off, when I got back in my car the fuse panel had been removed and thrown in my backseat. Mind you, at no point during this appointment was I rude or disrespectful to the employees in anyway. Thank you for taking the time to let us know what your thoughts were on your recent visit, however a couple of your statements are a bit harsh, considering they are in no way factual. To address your claims that our business is somehow predatory against females or otherwise is ridiculous and careless. Pricing is based exclusively on the year, make and model of the vehicleand what service you require, nothing more. To make claims otherwise on a public forum is very irresponsible, and quite frankly offensive to us. Our Service Director is a female, and so are 3 out of 6 of our current Service Managers in the service drive that you visited. While our services come with a higher price than some, that is a fact, you should consider that we are not just an independent small repair facility, but an OEM Certified repair and maintenance facility with Factory Master Certified Technicians with years of experience. Our ************* enjoys a very solid tradition of delivering world-class customer satisfaction to the vast majority of our guests. Our public and factory ratings speak for themselves. Just as anyone else, services offered are optional and you were able to opt out very easily. You also mentioned that your oil change was 2+ hours, but what you failed to also mention is that you had us working on diagnosing a power seat concern, too. That accounts for the extended time in which you had to wait. As you added additional services, the extra time was unavoidable. We absolutely extend a sincere apology to you that our sales staff made any inquiries to you about possibly trading in your car. Additional apologies for not getting your fuse panel back in place for you properly. Please let us know if you would like to swing by briefly and have it reinstalled. If at any time we can be of service to you, the door is always open. Take care.
