            A-1 Freeman errantly shipped firearms to my overseas destination placing me in legal jeopardy (prison/deportation). After 2x emails to the company, I have yet to receive a meaningful response. Still awaiting a response/update to the 22 January email; more than an acknowledgement.My household goods were delivered to my villa on the afternoon of Wednesday, 10 January 2024 and were finally unpacked on the afternoon of Thursday, 11 January 2024. During the final stages of unboxing on that Thursday, it was noted that a small box (approximately 12in x 12in x12in) contained four ************** pistols with their safety locks still attached. I consulted with the supervisor and placed the box safely out of reach of the other workers and my children.I followed up with an email to the shipping company (A-1 Freeman) and included the local coordinator in **********, **, ***************************************** as well as their relocation specialist (agent for North ************************************************** ***********************. On Friday, 12 January at 1713L, I received a reply email with an acknowledgement of message receipt stating, I'm talking with everyone to see what we can do. We will be back in touch with you. I am awaiting an update.Additional notable events/email transactions are below:Jul 26, 2023: shipping list stay vs ship - Sent to A-1 representative ********************** - Clarified which items stay vs ship - Obviously, firearms also remain in storage.Jul 26, 2023: acknowledgement from A-1 representative ********************** - We will make sure these are separated for the container going overseas.These items should not have been removed from storage and shipped. Ultimately, we received a variety of items marked as Stays behind including a lawn mower, pressure washer, large rolling tool benchthe firearms werent the only items that should NOT have been shipped overseas, but were.Finally, many, many missing/incomplete items on this shipment... awaiting an explanation.

            Horrid experience with A1 Freeman!!! They guarantee their dates, right? NO, they changed mine due to the blizzard on Feb. 17th to Feb. 20th. I kept calling and asking them to change the date because of the weather reports, but only the night before did they say they would come in the morning. I bet I called them 2 or 3 times a day for a moving date. DO YOU THINK THEY REIMBURSED ME for changing the pickup date? NO! They said they would shovel the walks, but no my neighbor did that. Do you think they salted the walks? No, and I could not find salt anywhere. One guy, who must live dangerously, wore cowboy boots. They delivered at the last possible date and let the driver call from his cell an unknown number. I also had some damage which I got little to nothing for.....I do not recommend this mover!
