K&M Resorts lies and cons people into believing they are getting a $2500 promotion and free nights of camping, they don't care about their customers, they don't answer or return calls in an efficient time, we were told about the $2500 promotion then piled on with paper work still believing it was for the $2500 promotion by the time we were done signing we ended up with a $12,000 credit card bill, we called to.cancel before period was over nobody answered the phones or called back in time, when we explained we were wanted to cancel our membership and we were rushed confused and told what to write on our forms the owner would not cancel our membership explained about our health situation and the promo was to trick us into buying something we did want Owner still would not let us cancel, October my wife was in hospital with medical issues, I talked to owner explaining why we needed to cancel membership owner said he would do what he could January 2024 we get a bill to pay for membership and credit card I am disputed this with the bank we owe $12000 too and now sending this to attorney General to fight this con promo K&M Resorts is only located in WA at the promo were told it is all over the US that is a lie, RPI was extremely confusing the paperwork was confusing, the promo guy would rush us and tell us not to worry about that information and tell us what to write if we started asking questions or reading further into the paper work we thought was for the $2500 Promotion. We even told the guy my wife and I are very limited on income with Disability he said no problem. We were lied to when we tried to get help we didn't get help from the owner, The people who can afford this he won't have complaints, people with limited money do have complaints and are tricked or conned into buying something else not realizing they are. This is from August 2023 Only reason it got a star is because I had too otherwise it would be zeroK M Resorts Of America Response

We have pulled the file and discussed with their salesperson. We have no documented notes at the corporate level that they called in with any questions regarding cancelling, we would have let them know the process to cancel. We document conversations and have nothing about medical issues or concerns about their membership, or that they even called the corporate office. I also have the text conversation between them and ******, they never mention wanting to cancel to him either. We are very open to discussing with members any issues they may have and help with the solution. We feel they are unjustly slandering KM with no grounds to do so. I would like to attach their contract and paperwork that they signed acknowledging they were purchasing a membership and the cost and the notes and texts but unable on this platform to attach this information.Review from Ryan S

We called to discuss membership and were told there was a special for a $2500 membership where they waive the fee and you will just have to pay the $500 annual fees. On the phone we were told we would *********** base resort where we could camp for free and we would have access to camp in their network for $10 a night at other resorts. Once we drove 3 hours to meet with a sales rep we were told they use that as a trick to get you to come meet with him. His words! What you actually get with the membership is access to an assigned home resort (********** ****) you don't get to pick. You also have no access to any of their other WA resorts with this membership because you can't camp at any of their resorts within a 125 mile radius of your assigned home base. So with this membership you will only be able to camp at your home base resort, that they assign to you, for 7 days but then you can't come back to camp again for 30 days and you have NO access to any of their other WA resorts. If you want access you have to upgrade to the $6000 membership.Review from Joseph J

So I am a single father that travels with my children and have a camping membership through coast2coast. I stayed at the ******************** in ****, ** a few weeks back to where I cam home from work to a note stating my dogs were barking through the day. Contacted my member contact and was told everything was fine it was a nonsense complaint and I did nothing wrong. Figured this week I'd give it another try. Had my membership reservation confirmed for 01April2022 to 08April2022 got a confirmation it had been accepted and approved. Upon arriving after a 3hrs drive I am informed the staff there canceled my reservation as I was banned from their campground. When I inquired as to why the "Host", they refused to identify, stated it was because of my dogs barking, my kids playing at the park at midnight, which is a lie, and because I wore a gun going to and coming from work. Now again I'll clarify my dogs bark when people come near the motorhome. My kids never played there last time all we did was leave super early and come back and go to sleep. As I stated they said it was for my gun as well which I only wore going to and coming from work. No courtesy call before we came nothing. Then to lie and use my children in their lie was cowardice and juvenile. Not once did I violate the park rules but because my dogs didn't like people walking around the motorhome I some how got to be the villain in this scenario and we got banned from a place for nothing. Now I hope this reaches hundreds of campers, travelers, and long stays. Avoid Travel Inn Resorts in ****, ** like the plague. They are crooked and evil.Review from Sara G

We bought a travel trailer from Fife RV and paid for an add-on package that said it included 7 free nights at a K&M campground. About a week after our purchase we got a call from ****** at K&M asking to set up a time when we could come in and pick up our camping passes. She said we needed about an hour to do so. I thought this was excessive just to be picking up the passes we purchased and for them to take copies of our drivers license. I asked if the extra time was going to be so they could upsell us on other packages. She said they could go over what they had to offer if we wanted to, but assured my the primary purpose was to pick up our camping passes. I want to add that I had this conversation with her in my vehicle over blue tooth and my mom and husband both heard the entire thing, so there was no confusion on what I was told.On a Sunday (our only day off), we drove 45 minutes from our house to the K&M office to pick up our passes. Upon arriving we were immediately put into a room with other unsuspecting guests and thrown right into a sales pitch presentation. Both my husband and I, and the other people in the room were confused and said we were told we came to pick up the passes we purchased as part of a package from Fife RV.The salesman proceeded to finish the 45 minute presentation and we sat through it expecting to get our passes and leave. However at the end, after we told them we werent interested in upgrading to bigger packages, they asked us to leave. I asked for the passes we came to pick up and they said no you dont get any passes, sorry.I told them we had Paperwork from Fife RV showing that we did and that ****** told us thats what we were picking up. The salesman told me I must have been confused. However, the other people in the room were ****** because they were lied to too. I called Fife RV the next day and told them what happened they said K&M was 100% in the wrong and that we did indeed purchase passes from them.K M Resorts Of America Response

We have reached out to **** a few times, we apologized for the confusion about not getting her 7 nt pass upfront, it was a data entry error and she has been sent the pass. We have talked to her and I emailed her apologizing. We gave her a two night pass when she was here a few weeks ago and have emailed her the seven to replace the two night pass.
