*** Dandy's Sewer and plumbing was contracted to replace a shower valve and water heater at the said property of 115 23rd. They opened up the wall took everything out without even measuring if the valve would fit. The plumber admitted the mistake when it didn't fit. They took another 3.5 hours to put it all back and wanted ME to pay for the 3.5 hours @$350hr for THEIR mistake. Ridiculous. I'm making a claim against their bond insurance. Never called to ask me what happened. Just threat's about liens. The new valve STILL hasn't been replaced.

My experience is quite similar to ******** C's review. Did not do all the work they were hired to do. I paid for the work they did complete and they are trying to send me to collections, ruin my credit and threatening foreclosure when they did not complete the job I hired them for. I hire lots of contractors for my work and have never been treated this poorly before. When I explain the scope of work that was to be completed which is not that complicated, they just argue with me like I don't know what I'm talking about, and the estimator that knows what work was supposed to be completed no longer works there. He told me he would come during excavation to see that everything was going well. That did not happen and it turned bad from there. I hired for a specific 5 feet of pipe to be replaced, and they did not complete that 5 feet. They say I only hired for 5 feet of pipe to be "excavated" ($5,700, only 2 feet down). They dug up the wrong area where there was no pipe, then never dug a whole five feet in the direction of the actual pipe. And apparently they get to choose what section and what amount of pipe gets replaced. Their lack of communication within the company and lack of cooperation with me means that part of the issue I hired them for has was never repaired. Their original bid was based off my sewer scope inspection that clearly identified were work needed to be done. When I told them they had not completed the work they told me that it would be more money to do that work, the same work that was originally bid on. I told them to come measure to see that they did not even do the 5 feet. They refuse to come see, or to finish the work. **** was supposed to review the sewer scope they did and get back to me. Never got back to me. No review of the scope of work I mailed into them or the detailed letter I sent them. But I have been told they will be ******* my house today.
