We have made ****** payment on time every month for nearly 3 years. I received a phone call from Altana collection department stating that I missed my October 2023 and they hasnt yet received my February payment either! I checked my bank account and it shows that I did make the payments and it was taken out of my account. I returned the call the next business day to let them know that they did receive both payments. When I spoke to the service agent she said that they in fact had received both payments in the correct months and the correct amounts! Someone in there banking staff had put the payments into the savings account that they required us to open in order to get a loan. We have made the same payment through our ******************* pay system. These past 3 years each and every payment has been applied to our loan on time except for the October and February payments which inadvertently were deposited into that savings account we had to open to get the loan. Our complaint is that as we were trying to figure out what happened with the payments Altana Federal Credit Union reported the SUPPOSED late payments to the credit bureau and causes our scores to plummet Over 100+ points! We are building a home and need our credit score to be better than good. I have been working very hard to get and keep our scores high and improving each month. We have asked them to help us get our good score back and they were not sure they could do something about it. We feel they need to fix their mistake!
