Called today on the way home from work to see if there was any sort of maintenance events I should be addressing at ****** miles. ***** holding for 20 minutes and being transferred 3 times I was told to schedule $400 worth of work on my transmission. My truck has ****** miles. ********* manual doesn't recommend this work until wayyyy later down the road.In summary, they will 100% try to rip you off. If they recommend anything, check it first. I called **** around 3:40. Pull the call.

Our family has lived in the Tacoma area for about a year now and we just completed our second car purchase from Gilchrist. The first time we were trading in my husband's car for something a little bit nicer. ***** helped us out there and he made the process the most pain free car buying experience we had ever had. So, when we needed to go down to one car, we went back to Gilchrist, we traded in my SUV and my husband's car. *** helped us out this time. We told *** what we wanted to accomplish, the ball park of where we wanted our payment to be and he delivered wonderfully. Everyone at Gilchrist has been extremely professional and courteous. They act like they want your business and they know they aren't the only shop in town. We love our new Equinox, and if we are ever in Tacoma again and need to get a vehicle, we will definitely by working with Gilchrist.
