Bed bugs. No cover on the heater. No thermostat, just on or off. Wires without conduits. I'm no expert on the national building code, but I don't think they meet it. The bathroom layout is "creative". I got some nice pictures. I can say the room looked clean at a glance and all the things they said would be there were there, like the fridge. I have a disability and I parked to check in properly. While I was limping on my cane over to the office window two other vehicles pulled in and stopped without parking properly. The people jumped out of there cars and ran ahead of me to the office window to check in and the people just went ahead and helped those people first while I sat on the sidewalk because I did not have it in me to stand in a cue.It was made clear when I checked in through the office window that there was to be no other contact during our stay due to covid. No "room service" the middle of our two night stay. Just drop the key in the slot when you check out.When I realized there were bed bugs I did not see anyone in the office to discuss it with them, so I just dropped off the key and left.I did check and there were zipped on covers on the mattresses and box springs, but not good ones. They had large teeth and no seal at the end of the zipper. Plus, there are plenty of other hiding places for bed bugs. With my disability I could not move furniture to look.When we got home I spent about 9 hours trying to clean everything we had with us well enough to prevent bed bugs from moving in with us too.Oh, and the snow and ice were cleared pretty well from the East side of the parking lot. They gave me a room on the West side and made sure to tell me not to slip on all the snow and ice.
