Feb 2021, my ********* paid Roman PI $2,600. In exchange, we were promised that they would conduct surveillance, capture evidence/photos of elder abuse against our grandfather & give us a report. After he had the money, it was extremely hard to reach him. After numerous calls, ******************** he would answer days later with a guarantee that a report would come soon. We never received that report. All we ever got from him was a brief phone call stating "there's a long-haired guy who's been receiving packages". The last time he ever reached back was 3/25/21 (after days of trying to reach him) apologizing for the delay & promised a report would be delivered the following Tuesday. We never heard back even after numerous attempts to reach him. We even gave him license plate numbers to run to help in the investigation. We purchased an outdoor spy cam & asked if he could set it up outside our grandfather's home, across the street in the neighbor's yard, who had already given permission. He said yes but we could never reach him to schedule it. During this investigation, our grandfather ended up dying. We still don't have a report. We saw the aggressive responses made in response to YELP reviews & decided to wait to submit this until after we changed our Bank information (because we paid him over the phone by giving our debit card number & signing a contract), out of fear of retaliation. This is also because I received an email from a former customer who got scammed and is taking him to court after she claims he made numerous calls to her bank after a dispute between them and asked if I would be wiling to testify about our experience. Roman replied to both reviews with lies but still hasn't responded to any emails or sent a report. He claims to have given us a report, that my reviews are unwarranted & will follow up. We have not received anything. The response to my review is the first time I've seen any reply from him & still have not gotten a direct reply.
