Are you in need of an outstanding HVAC company? Sierra Valley Mechanical is the bomb! From start to finish they did an amazing job. Bonus - they are SMUD certified, so you can qualify for rebates (while they last). When we met with the Project Lead ****, he was courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, very detail-oriented, and well-versed in houses and HVAC needs. He was the only company that pointed out we needed a new register to meet the needs of the house. Something we knew we needed. He paid attention to our requests, provided great suggestions, and also ensured rebate requirements were met. Every day the team showed up, they placed drop cloths on our floors everywhere they worked. They were conscientious, and detail-oriented and spent a significant amount of time testing the new HVAC system to ensure it was properly balanced. Their care in removing equipment while minding to not chip the walls or doors, along with their gentle personalities and upbeat energies was refreshing. Shout out to *******, ****, *****, and ****, whom we saw daily. **** also popped in now and then to ensure all was proceeding according to plan. Great guys, so polite! I loved hearing occasional chuckles of camaraderie among them, and it was clear they were a cohesive team. They cleaned up everyday, and you would never have known they had been in the house, except, are you ready for it? They left the floors cleaner than they were before they arrived!While we are delighted with our new HVAC system and are warm and toasty... however it's now too quiet in the house without them here. I bought a new ****** Heat Pump from Sierra Valley Mechanical last spring. The installers showed me where it was slightly damaged due to a shipping related issue. They were able to temporarily repair it and ordered a new replacement part. When it came in, they installed it, and I never missed a minute of A/C. I've had a couple of other interactions with them, and their guys (and gals) have always been polite and professional. I'm very happy with SVM, and highly recommend them.

I think this is was one of the best contractors I have worked with. We were removing our old central air system and installing mini splits. They provided clear bids. The owner worked with me on a scope and explained all the different models of units. The crew was kind and communicated well. The ******* had good suggestions on where to run pipes. After the job was done they followed up with the paper work and explained everything to **. The manufacturer came out and inspected the units. They were very impressed with the work the contractor did. I would recommend them to anyone for HVAC work.

Absolutely a great set of folks to work with - I’m really glad we hired them. I had them replace and upgrade the main electrical panel on my 1958 house (and add a garage sub panel). They did excellent work and finished right on schedule. The city electrical inspector even complimented the neatness and quality of the work twice, entirely unprompted. The crew foreman, Michael, was great and busted his tail making everything work. The general construction guy Adam kept it all running smoothly, and Seth did amazing work in the fairly unpleasant attic conditions. Their pride in high quality, good looking work was apparent from the first day they started, and the work is clean and all around great. And when I accidentally overpaid, they were quick and honest in catching my mistake and fixing it.Highly recommended! They also do great HVAC work. Our tech Bobby was fast, professional, knowledgeable, and gave me all the info I needed to make a good decision. They really have a great team there, from the big boss Mike to Suzy who made the SMUD paperwork zero hassle and Kaylie who handled the scheduling.
