COMPLETE SCAM OF A DEALERSHIP. Spoke with **** starting Wednesday 10/4 about a used ****** Rav 4 hybrid XLE they STILL have listed for $27,399. He offered to bring it down to me in ******* to purchase, and we decided to go up to see it instead when they offered to match the financing % I got from my credit union. I was worried about it selling before we made it, and asked if he could bring it to me to purchase on Friday 10/6. He said I was better off coming to see it at my 1pm appointment time on Saturday 10/7 and assured me that it would not be sold, because he had put it in for smogging. So, we drive up on Saturday 2+ hours from ******* after making arrangements for our dogs to be watched. **** texted me that morning saying he would not make it, but his partner **** would help me out when I arrived. **** was busy when we arrived, so another employee started to help us. He pulled up a non-hybrid RAV4, and tried to sell it to us before he finally told us that he had sold the car we came to see 1 hour before we got there... He then tried to sell me on completely different vehicles. A complete waste of an entire day, and added mileage to my trade-in devaluing the car I need to sell. This business is running a complete scam, and will directly lie to you to get people to drive out to ********* to see cars that do not exist there, just to try to sell you on completely different cars once you get there. The car is STILL listed for sale online today 10/11, and I am still getting emails from them regarding this car... BUYERS BEWARE! Don't trust if they tell you they're working ways to hold it for you. They are not. THEY LIST CARS FOR SALE THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE IN STOCK. I feel completely scammed and insulted by their lies. At least they filled up our gas tank, which is better than nothing, but gas doesn't make up for adding 220 miles to my car, lying to me about how it would still be there, and wasting my family's entire day. DO NOT TRUST THEM, THEY WILL SCAM YOU.
