Approximately a month ago, I engaged in a vehicle trade with the dealership. Subsequently, I received a phone call informing me that the bank had not approved the transaction and that I needed to return the car. I am perplexed as to how they were able to hand over the vehicle and keys to me on the day of the sale, stating that I had been approved, and then have me sign a contract for financing only to later request that I return the car. This is an unprecedented experience for me in my dealings with other dealerships. It is, without a doubt, the most unpleasant experience I have ever had.Review from Yolanda A

We have met with this customer and his intention is to remove this review. He understands that the mechanical issue with his vehicle was from another repair facility and we are helping them correct this issue.Review from Licha M

Horrible experience beware these people are scammers . They let my son thinks he was approved for car drove it two months took his trade in and not only did they ruin his credit by not making the trade in payments they yo-yoed him around long story short they asked for the car back ! Please note this review is from a third party that apparently wasn't involved in any transaction. Additionally we are unable to determine if there was a transaction with her "son" since there is no identification of whom she is speaking? We have searched with her last name and are unable to identify a transaction. We would be happy to respond appropriately given the opportunity to reply to a specific transaction.Review from Flavia G

Disappointed is an understatement. Typically car salesman have this stereotype.. and in this day in age we would like to believe family owned dealerships such as **** Lincoln in ******** is different and emoloyee car salesman with integrity. Sadly its not. I was in need of a car and chose to revisit ****. Salesperson ****** was slow to unresponsive to almost all communications. Him along with supervisor ***** pulled all the fancy lingo and pressure to buy a careven picked me up from my home at 8pm because they had only a deal for tonite!! Made promises for new car matts and seat covers.But, all is well until you sign the dotted line. Here I am almost 6 months latergetting the run around and every excuse in the book for the car seat covers that were promised when I purchased the car. So frustratingnothing worse than feeling like a chump or lied too! Really this is Family **** businessand how you treat your customers. False promisesno follow *** and responses. There car seat covers!!! I found 2 sites that make them, I gave you the order requestswhy cant you fulfill your promise? Unfortunately the seat covers we intended to provide were not to the customers liking. This wasn't known at the time of sale. She wanted seat covers that cost three times the amount of those we were giving her. She has however accepted a credit equal to the cost amount for the car seat covers that we intended to provide and she can apply that to the cost of the seat covers of here choice. The floor mats have always been available to her.Review from Kevin T

Salesman ******************* flat out lied to me about my trade in condition and immediately pretended that the vehicle I was looking at was sold to some else during the time I was speaking to him. Checking the website I could see that the not only was the vehicle still listed there, they decided to raise the price by another $3,000. *** did not lie to anyone. We take great pride in the fact that our employees are honest and trust worthy. In this situation another sales representative had a customer negotiating on the same vehicle at the same time. That sales person, ****, obtained a deposit from the customer he was working with to purchase the vehicle. ********** never committed to a deposit. ****'s customer is actually taking delivery at the discounted price today. The vehicle was an ad vehicle at the time of negotiation. When it came off ad the price reverted back to retail on our website. Additionally when ********** represented his trade in vehicle to us he was either unaware or did not disclose it had a "bad" Carfax report from being damaged. This dropped the trade value of the vehicle. The trade vehicle has ******* miles and would always have been a wholesale vehicle and not something we would retail. Once however the damage was discovered on the Carfax report it dropped the value of the trade down further.Review from Jen M

They tore apart our electrical system and was unable to resolve the issue. Pulled our car alarm and sent the truck back grease covered inside. When we spoke to service mgr because they didnt charge us for this they arent responsible for creating a even bigger electrical problem. The Mgr hung up on me saying we were going in circles and he was done with this. ****** our service coordinator failed to list the work causing this whole mess. We dont even know where the alarm is at this point. They are rude and condescending avoid big Valley Ford!!Big Valley Ford Lincoln Mercury Response

Prior to receiving this review our Service Manager reached out to this customer to discuss their concern. We have offered to diagnosis the electrical issue with their vehicle to find a resolution. This issue was present when they dropped the vehicle off originally but we were not asked to diagnose it or repair it. The customer had "bypassed" the issue. We are awaiting their decision.Customer Response

This is false information provided. They denied even working on our electronic issues and I was hung up on. They called this morning to say they had communication issues within their environment and did in fact seek to find the short. That we can bring it back and pay them to fix possibly but that they were limited to electronic mechanics on site. That we can pay them to find the short they left as now the battery drains which it wasnt when they received the vehicle.Review from stefanie a

this place is garbage really they are went in 2020 my advisor was ***** he was garbage he didnt do anything to get my car in for the transmission issue. he knew I had a engine and transmission warranty and just let it run out so i had him put my vehicle back together and I towed it to another **** dealer then when trying to get it in for the still transmission issue I needed to do a test drive with their ******. but i didnt have time with work its really hard. when I took it in for service they brought me back my car sitting so on the right side of the vehicle it makes my steering shake and when i brake it shakes as well. so when I wanted to schedule for the recall they made it so difficult no loaner for the recall or the transmission so didnt like how I was being talked to spoke with **** she said she would talk to ****** on my concerns. she said she would let him know well she didnt waste of time and when i spoke with the owner starts with a d she said she didnt want my business because i talked trash about her employee nope I didnt I spoke the truth and she didnt like it she didnt care about her customer clearly. that really shocked me. so i still haven't taken my vehicle for the transmission or the recalls. i just felt like she didnt want to hear me out all she was concern that they was sick or was on vacation supposable he just decided to take vacation mind you don't you have to request that. but obviously my opinions and frustrations didnt matter. when i spoke with cooperate they said they didnt understand why they are being difficult and also i was allowed a loaner.
