At this point, I was confused and disappointed. I disagreed that the fender liners were my liability and spoke to ***. His reason was that the fender liner clips were not installed properly prior to the accident. He also stated that they do not service salvage titles and only came to know after working on the car. Prior to all this, I was clueless and had belief that ********** and ***************** would do their job properly. I am unsatisfied and want to point out the flaws in this claim process and repair service: 1) In our initial conversation during the estimate, *** knew my car was a salvage title. He also made it clear to me that the shop does not service salvage titles. 2) Why wasnt ***************** knowledgeable in this salvage title policy of **********? Also, why did ********** accept the work order for my car despite knowing that it was a salvage title? 3) *** neglected the damages of the right fog light cover and the fender liners knowing that both were exposed to wind, allowing wind to travel throughout the bumper. Driving with this condition and having to wait months for the process and repair, the fender liners were further damaged. 4) *** knew very well that without the fender liners, the shield would not stay intact. Therefore the job theyve completed became a mess. The shield did not stay on. 5) After repair, the right side bumper was not intact, instead forced against the bolt screwed into the fender. Now I am driving with the right side bumper hanging. The complaint here is that how did *** claim damages to the shield but not the fender liners? His reason was that the fender liners were not installed properly. But my point is that prior to the accident, I made long travels in high wind no matter the weather condition, yet the fender liners stayed intact. I had no issues nor damages until the accident in April 2022. To say, almost no repair was done, wasted months on this, and this was the result I received? ***************** and ********** left me with the mess they created. The repair theyve completed did not solve anything, my bumper still looked like garbage, they further damaged the right side bumper, and then to top it off, told me that I have to fix the fender liners out of my pocket when I did not cause any of the damages.
