TERRIBLE customer service! Rented a place that had mold and was completely filthy and disgusting! Refused to give us a refund initially until we involved the credit card company. Sunset Rentals was rude and disrespectful and will never use them again for renting a place! Be aware of what you are getting, pictures and descriptions are misleading!

*** has not been a guest of record with us at any point, and we did not receive or refund any funds to her. The guest that is referenced by *** received a full refund as offered by the business several months ago. This was offered as well as operational resolution for items referenced for the stay. Coincidentally, that guest also recently opened a chargeback for an amount over what was originally paid, which was summarily dismissed.Review from RoseAnn S

Be sure to take photos when you arrive because they will try to scam you with excessive fees for damages they know are already there. We have photos from arrival and they will not acknowledge and blamed us for a candy wrapper OUTSIDE claimed we trashed the place. Not one person in our group smokes(not cigarettes not any substance for religious reasons) but due to an outside planter packed full years worth of butts we got a $500 fee. Bird poo on the deck was used to say we damaged the deck. A missing k*** which they fixes by installing a top bolt on the door was used to say we took a door k*** In that very room is a drawer full of k**** they use to fix the place up. We ran the dishwasher and two pots had food remaining they said that was excessive work for a secondary $500 fee. They state the owner was there the day before us so how they claim they had no knowledge of the home in unbelievable. None of the claims were worth notifying them of at check in so we thought nothing of it. Now I regret ever staying here.Sunset Rentals, Inc. Response

Hi *******! Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, our cleaners reported extensive damage, and extra cleaning was required after your check out. Our team went to investigate and found broken and burned furniture, broken blinds, vomit, drug paraphernalia, cigarette buds, multiple dirty dish items, and trash throughout, as well as, in the pool. We understand no one wants to be charged extra for damages and request all items be reported to us within 24 hours of check-in to avoid such issues and to ensure all items are perfect for our guests. We appreciate your feedback and I hope you were able to enjoy our beautiful island!
