Wish I could leave 0 stars. ******* is a joke and very rude and disrespectful. I always pay $500 on my bill so that I always have a credit I took sick right before the new year and because Im paperless have not been checking my emails. *** had credits for the last eight months and the bill was literally three days past due and they turned my water off, even though I paid $500 I tried to explain to the young lady why wouldnt they give me a courtesy call and she stated we dont do courtesy calls . Very disrespectful very nasty to the point that Im actually considering selling my home so that I dont have to deal with consolidated utilities which is just the worse! I try to remain calm in all situations but when youre dealing with nasty people it does make you want to get nasty and rude or perhaps go to their office and get nasty and rude in person! Would not recommend it depending on your address youre stuck with these idiots!Review from Sierra S

**** with a Z is very rude! She hung up on me in mid conversation. Very disrespectful and poor customer service skills. She handled the situation very poorly. The company overall is disappointing. My water was cut off with no warning and a payment made prior too and they werent willing to cut it back on til the next day. If I could deal with a different company for my area I most definitely would.Review from Amelia S

Extremely high water bills ($800). Excuses that makes no sense. ************ person rude. Basically had to call every day for 2 weeks for the manager to take my call and then she couldn't give me any details to explain or justify the bill. They make the joy of buying a house a total nightmare. I have neighbors going through it too. And they can push us over how ever.Review from Nancy V

The worst customer service. The girls in the office are rude. Obviously the owners of this company do not care about who represents them in the office. I have been waiting for a week for the techs to come back and clean up the mess from a leak on their side. I will say that the men that came to fix the leak were very polite and I wish I could say the same about the staff in the office. Not to mention the water poured out for days before they came to fix it.!!!Review from Sarah C

Worst ***************** *** would not stop talking over me when I was trying to voice my concern for my check that I sent being lost in the mail. *** told me they receive so many checks, just pay the **** online and they wouldn't be able to find the check if received. I was concerned about having a lost check in the mall and wanted to stop payment but she said if they cashed it I would receive a fee. I asked if there was a manager that I could speak to and she said she would give ******* the message. *** was rude and she hung up on me. I had to call and make sure that my number was taken. I was informed that ******* the manager does not have set hours so they could not tell me when she would be in the office. This company is horrible when trying to figure out a situation and as a person who has worked in customer service they were the worst people to talk to. Crooks is a kind word. H333635353*3735303230H has a monopoly on the area of ************. in ******** ** and takes advantage of its customers. They are not even worth a zero rating they need to be investigated and closed. Nature of Complaint: I received a H32383331383*30383335H **** on 11/1/21( attached) regarding my property in the county of Chatham (********, **). The **** was for $701.20. After receipt of this **** I of coursed questioned the H32383331383*30383335H company as I only live in this home, if I am not working; at max * days a month because I work out of town, and it would be impossible to accumulate such an enormous amount. Typically, my H32383331383*30383335H service does not exceed $50 on a holiday month with me having guest in my home. I reached out to H333635353*3735303230H apprising them that after receipt of the **** I had a plumber locate a leak from the road to the house. Additionally, I requested that they review history of the **** on my home which spans about 11 years and no **** has exceed $55 dollars when I lived their full time. I submitted proof of the issue and repair they did not care and advised that if my hose was not on a Slab they could not adjust ****. Well **************(H3*3930313139323938H) this is bias to those who chose to buy a different style home.Further, for Gods sake, we are in the middle of Covid-19 and I cannot go home to wash my hands or my behind. They only get one star because you can not give negative stars. This company is a monopoly with no county or regulatory oversight! They have no regard for the consumer. Theirs bills are inaccurate a d they do not give ************** readings. In fact I do not think they read the meter because my security camera would have picked it up. The office staff will not answer or return phone calls. The consumers are being held hostage by a utility company, and the community has no recourse!Review from Kerri P

I would give a zero rating if I could. I am 50 years old and I have never dealt with such an evil, yes I said "evil," company in my entire life. They were not willing to talk to me, willing to call me back, or willing to come to an agreement with me - at all. I didn't have the water bill in my name for a year, I live in a park and I didn't know/realize that the water bill was to be switched into my name, hindsight maybe but I guess with Consolidated Utilities, no humans but the ones that are working for them are allowed to make mistake. Well anyway, I had to pay a past due bill of $1086 plus their deposit of $100. At first I panicked and didnt have much of it to pay at all, maybe $200 - give or take some - they were not hearing this, which I semi-understood but keep in mind, they had turned me off with no warning at all...not even "hey you got an hour to pay this" let alone a day or two! In panicked mode, I didnt think about getting paychecks a day or two later and I tried on several occassions to call someone and left message after message, they were calling me back and must have had caller ID because it's a business, I would assume that they would have to answer the phone, too ironic that they never answered for me. I was prepared to offer them most the bill, more than half then the rest of it in a week...but they were not talking to me to make any considerations at all. Well, I have since then (about a month without water!) paid most my bill, made the down payment, and got help for the rest of the bill..and they still have yet to turn my water back on! We're lucky and they all-of-sudden get a conscience!!! They need to wait to recieve the check and for the check to clear first -- this check is coming from a NATIONALLY TRUSTED company! Excuses are what I think, I think they just like to "mess" with their customers and have fun doing it...wish I believed in Karma but it doesn't happen. How can this not be considered unsanitary to say the least...and especially with COVID?? I swear if one of my family members would contract COVID and a simple little hand wash would have saved them, I would sue them (maybe that would be the karma I'm looking for) I'm not usually like this but I can't phathom being people like them!!! I have done customer service *all* my life and I would have done anything and everything to help ALL my customers.
