              5/4/21 Double AA Service and Repair said they would sell a new Carrier for $4700 so we agreed. We did not realize until the next day that they installed mismatch units. They installed Carrier brand air handler inside and Payne condenser outside hidden in bushes. We asked them why they installed mismatched units she said " they are the same manufacturer." Not what we agreed to buy. Fast FWD 112 days after installation our new Payne condenser stops blowing cold air. We call Double AA to perform labor warranty repair. They sent out 2 techs on 8/17 & 8/18 both techs said low refrigerant and checked for leaks. No leaks detected. The office says we have a leak in main line they can replace for $2800. They did not test main line for leaks. We said no. They refuse to do repairs until we replace main AC line. We got 2 2nd opinions. Both independent techs reported same issues. They found Double AA techs stripped port valve and overcharged our refrigerant causing damage to compressor and TXV.

              We purchased a 22kw Generac whole house generator from Double A in August of 2021. The all inclusive price we paid including the product purchase and installation was just under $14,000. These monies were paid in advance of the install as required by Double A. They installed the generator to connect to our existing gas meter without consideration of the gas volume required to operate the generator during a lengthy power outage. There were no calculations done by Double A, based upon the size of the existing gas meter nor in consideration of other gas appliances we routinely use in our home. At no time were we ever informed by Double A that we would need a larger gas meter and two in line regulators to provide increased volume to the generator and thus ensure that we would be able to operate as normal during a major outage This is obviously what we were paying for in buying a very expensive whole house generator. Double A refused to do anything to correct the deficiencies in their installation under the claim that the basic installation they provided would pass a city inspection and the generator would run once a week for a short period to keep the generator batteries charged. They had no remorse in consideration of what they provided us would not allow the product to perform as designed. We were forced to spend another $1,200 out of our pocket to have a third party install the product correctly due to their lack of business integrity, There other circumstances involved as well that I will not provide due to the lack of space available on this review. Double A is an unethical company with no professional integrity. Their sole interest is to ***** the customer financially with no consideration paid to customer satisfaction and proper product performance. I would highly encourage anyone considering Double A for product purchases or services to seek alternate sources. I would also happily go into more detail if desired by an interested party.
