I contact North Florida Leisure to provide a screened in porch. We were given an estimate in 10/24/2023 and was told that the work would take approximately 2 weeks to complete. He requested a downpayment of $2,834.00 to begin the work he will start on 11/20 pulling up concrete slab and prepping for additional work. He requested another payment of $2834.00 on 11/22/2024. So that he can now get the concrete down, we went away for two weeks, and no work was completed. He finally came back out to the home on 12/11/2023nm to pour the concrete. All the while I am asking if has pulled the permit to have the work done, he then requested another check on 12/12/2023 for another $2,834.00 which he received Then on 12/22/2023 he request another $2,834.00 stating that they will be back out to finish up the job on 12/26/2024. When no showed up I texted him and he stated that they were still cutting material, then he stated that he was coming on 12/27/2024 mid-morning to begin the work on the porch, then he texts to say his contractor was sick. I contact him on that same day to explain my disappoint with the timeframe it is taking to get the work done and that we have given him over $11,336.00 for just a slab and nothing has been done. No one ever showed up later in December. Then they came out in January just to put up the frame still no permit and no other work completed.
