I visited Hughston Clinic in ********* ******* on May 23, 2023 in hopes of having a chronic problem with my left foot and right hand resolved. I have had pain in my hand for 4 years, and have been to 4 doctors about it, who simply guess instead of doing an MRI to get to the bottom of the problem. Each doctor has guessed a totally different diagnosis. So I am spending time and ******** is paying for multiple visits for a problem that could be resolved, while I am suffering needlessly. Also, about 6 months ago, I began to suffer with sharp pain in my left foot, which was unbearable at times. Likewise, doctors played guessing games instead of trying to run tests to resolve the problem. I will say that Hughston Clinic did x-ray my foot and also looked up an x-ray of my hand that I had had 18 months before for which NO ONE had ever given me the results. However, the **** who saw me insisted very strongly on me wearing a medical boot and was very pushy about me getting it from them specifically. He did NOT prescribe any anti-inflammatory medications or any other medicine for me at all. The medical boot made things worse, and did not help at all. Furthermore, I had made an appointment with my former bone doctor, *** *******, whom I never got to see. In addition the exact same boot for which Hughston Clinic charged the government $430, sells for $50 total on amazon. No wonder the **** pressured me to buy it from them immediately. They told me that my 20% for the boot was $63. which I promptly paid. ****** ******** refused to pay the outlandish price of $430 and paid them $209.18 which is more than they deserve for the piece of junk they pressured me to buy. Since ****** ******** didn't pay them all they wanted, they are constantly badgering me to pay the remainder of $157.73. ****** has told me that they have paid them what they were due, and that I do not owe them any more money other than the $63.09 that I have already paid. Yet, they keep badgering me to pay this.
