      This company purely exists to rob citizens. I called to have my gas shut off at my old address, they did not shut it off, then in order for me to have hot water at my new address a year later they bullied me into paying for a year of someone else's gas. ************** is rude and disgusting, they do not care for there customers in the least. I moved into a new home and just to be provided with hot water I had to pay a 400$ bill on top of monthly payments for 115$ ( for one hot water heater) the whole company is a scam and should be shut down.

      I attempted to reach out to *********************** but was unsuccessful. I was unable to confirm with her the exact close date at her previous address, which was August 1, 2022. The customers average monthly consumption is in the $30.00 range not $115.00. The exception was the first invoice which includes the final bill amount from the customers previous account, security deposit, activation fee, and consumption.

      Request activation of service for my move in with my three minor daughters and technicians shows when I did not receive the keys for my new apartment and I explained them that I need the activation after 3:00pm but when I called them back to be able have someone to come and do the activation they have me in the phone for 1 hour and transfer me to a different representative and supervisor to told me, Sorry we not have technicians available and you need to wait until Monday for your service be activated. Even they know I have three minors without gas to cook and without gas to be able to use the heater. They let my three daughters stay without services for three days. They not care for the customer and the representative lack of empathy and has a really bad attitude towards the client. Horrible experience in my life. The first time that I have to buy frozen food for my kids and told them they cant shower for two days. Unbelievable.

      We have made multiple attempts to speak with the customer but have been unsuccessful. ************* hours are Monday-Friday ****** to ****** (excluding holidays). Our technicians need to have access to the home to light the gas appliances. Unfortunately, same day service was not available. Service was activated on 11/20/23. We value our customers and strive to provide the highest level of service.

      To my dismay, I discovered an unauthorized debit of $460.36 from my bank account, which not only caught me off guard but also put my account into default. This sudden and substantial charge has caused financial strain and inconvenience, and I am deeply troubled by the lack of communication and transparency from TECO Energy regarding the nature of this charge.I have taken prompt action to address this matter by contacting my bank to dispute the unauthorized charge. Additionally, I reached out to a TECO Energy representative to seek clarification on the matter. However, the explanation provided to me has been insufficient and has not helped me understand the reason for this exorbitant charge. It is worth noting that I did not receive any prior notice, explanation, or bill detailing how the charges were incurred.Given my history as a responsible and conscientious customer, I respectfully request that ******************** waive the unexplained charges totaling $460.36 that were billed to my account without my consent or prior notification. I believe that this request is reasonable, considering the circumstances, and I hope that TECO Energy will consider my request in a fair and timely manner.
