      If you want a compassionate, helpful, caring funeral home, this place is NOT it! Please read before you spend $15k. The funeral director, ***** wouldn't approve service time for our loved one before meeting in person. He couldnt meet with us for 3 days creating stress not knowing how advise family who needed to book a flight. I think it was $$. "In person meeting with *****, we didn't have a good feeling. He had nothing prepared, we sat in silence for him to gather many pieces of papers,didnt offercondolences, the atmosphere was cold. ***************-wrote the contract 4 times-he kept making mistakes. I asked him what would be under the casket and he stated nothing but the ******, stating they dont have drapes for offsite funerals. ***** was pushing us to buy ***** flower to cover ******. The day before the funeral he came up with a drape like he was doing us a favor. The servcie was closed casket but a few relatives wanted to see our family member prior to closing. Hewell&Son advised us to have family ready to view at 10:00. ***** and team arrived late. Without going into detail, our loved one did not look presentable! I feel like this goes back to poor service. The next day, I called ***** to see who sent a spray & found out we were missing two arrangements ***** said they delivered to the funeral home when they delivered other arrangements. I called ***** at 10 that morning-left a voicemail.No response so I texted at 7:30pm to which he replied flowers weren't his responsibility. In that same text, he told us there was flowers at the funeral home that was delivered late and we needed to pick it up. Sad that we had to call him there was a flower arrangement was sitting at the funeral home. When the death cert. arrived, I called ***** ahead of time to tell him we were on our way. Upon arrival, he tells us there was error so he would have to send for an amended death cert. You would think he would have reviewed the death cert. BEFORE he reached out to us.
