Contacted them at least twice to honor guarantee, soffit needing repair
Purchase April 1999, guarantee for 20 years, contacted them in August 2014, sent 2 emails, was told a repair order was written and some one would contact me, eight days later I emailed them again, no one contacted me to evaluate area needing repair. Now the siding on the back of the house has also come down.
Correct all damage to the home caused by negligence on their part. Replace damaged wood, siding, soffit, trim, eradicate any mold, etc...
Originally a repair call was submitted to our company as ** ******* states in regards to the soffit coming down, along with some photos emailed. We did write up a repair work order and did have someone out to assess. It was stated that there would be a charge to take care of the fallen soffit. This repair did slip through the cracks as we were waiting for our manager to price the repair and since we didn't hear back from ** ******* on asking for the price. We do apologize for that.
A high winds storm hit last weekend, 11/1 - 11/2, that most likely took the siding off the back of the house. From these photos, it is now evident that there is another underlying problem. Somehow water has been getting behind the siding and causing the wood to deteriorate; since we have never been notified of any leaking issues, there was no way of telling.
We will be sending our head mechanic to take a look at the home today, 11/11 if weather holds out this afternoon; if not, it will be tomorrow, 11/12. From there we will get in contact with ** ******* to let her know repair details and schedule any work to be done at the end of this week or beginning of next.
