People considering Kimlin as their home/commercial energy provider should know this.Worked with Kimlin on a 3 yr. contract to provide my home kerosene needs. After several iterations, found that contract gave me a week to get the initial delivery offer of $4.99/gallon. I asked to schedule delivery immediately, and they said that they had no kerosene in July. When I suggested altering the date to when Kimlin would have kerosene to provide, I was told that the $4.99 price was good on the initial delivery, and I would not be penalized for Kimlin not having product within the date parameters, .It seems as though I might have questioned Kimlin's integrity. So, I trusted *********************** and agreed to leave the contract as is. Big mistake.I called back in September to get my "initial delivery". They had kerosene, and the nerve to tell me that the price was now $7.99/gallon. I explained what had happened, and spoke with the person, who I worked with on the contract, and she apologized profusely for the "misinformation". She apparently had no business altering contracts, or making promises on the Kimlin's behalf. I was basically told, "tough luck". I signed a contract for a date when they did not provide ********, and did not insist on a date modification. This is a well-orchestrated fraud that they perpetuate on trusting customers. They offered a price of $6.99/gallon, as "the best they could do". As if paying $2.00 more per gallon, should satisfy me. Every individual I spoke with towed they line, basically saying I should have changed the date. They used those dates, knowing they could not fulfill the contract as they had written. My wife says, I should be more trusting. I was, and was taken advantage of. I wrote the owner, Max *********************** thinking he would be outraged by his companies behavior. I have heard nothing two month later. Have not dealt with with a more duplicitous, despicable company, ever. This was an intentional deception, that Kimlin has no problem authoring.

We signed a fixed price agreement to purchase fuel oil and propane from Kimlin ****** Services in August of 2021. The long and short of it is they began hitting ** with Environmental Compliance Fees which were not part of the agreement, started charging ** rates well beyond the contracted rates, eventually stopped delivering, tried to bill us back for the unused portion of the contracted quantities even though it had not reached the term of the agreement, held our money for months until we badgered them sufficiently to refund ** most of it, and still owe ** funds that did not get refunded.I believe if you do a search of social media you will find this is a relatively common practice of this company. They regularly make up extra charges or fees, do not honor agreements, and when confronted with this do not return calls or other communications.

They currently owe me $996 for unused propane from last year that was paid in advance to hold the price. It has been since May. I asked for a refund on Sept 8th and was told the would charge me $300 restocking fee. After complaining about this, I was told I would get my full refund. It is now Oct. 20 and they will no longer call me back or even *************. This is a lot of money they have had of mine. Someone should check out their accounting ***** because they dont know how to reach them and only have checks sent to them once a week. Seems fishy to me. Its not hard to cut a check unless you no longer have the money. Please get my money.

Ive been with them for years and last year they started charging me over $100 because Im only getting cooking propane once a year. Thats in addition to the filling of my tanks!! Beware! We wanted to discontinue with them and they said they will charge us to pick up the tanks and that we were not allowed to return them ourselves. This company is awful to charge because you dont use enough

The company Is not truthful. The rate increases were astronomical when they said there werent going to be any. Then when we canceled our service with them, they kept lying and lying about when we were going to get our refund. It has been five months and we have not received our refund check yet which was supposed to be issued to us between six and eight weeks. When I called last week, they hadnt even looked at the last request I made to get my refund since December. It is now the middle of February. Do not waste your time and money with this company. Its a shame because I try to stay local with them, but they are horrible to deal with.
