              These people are vultures I owed $8 on a bill and they came to disconnect me and I had to pay $48 to have the man leave from my doorstep I called to see what was going on so my bill was $8 + $20 for using their gas an additional $20 so they don't shut it off not to mention they charged you $250 just to connect the gas this cannot be legal and I am sure that I am not the only one

              These people will cut your gas off even if youre 24 hours late. They bully us around, rip us off and have the worst customer service *** ever experienced. They are cold and heartless and wont budge one inch on anything. This is extremely detrimental to the areas customers, including special needs, low incomes and the elderly. They have predatory business practices and should not be allowed to have a monopoly against the people of ***************. They should NOT be allowed to abuse us this way. Sick and evil company who will stop at nothing to bleed you dry.

              EMW does not cut off your gas for being 24 hours late. The bills go out on the 1st of the month. They're due by the 15th. If not paid by the 15th, you get a late fee and a late bill at that time stating that you have until 6:00 on the 24th to pay your bill on the 25th We will disconnect. We also work with people we on Extensions for their bill which we have given you many times and you fail to pay the extension and the agreed upon amount. I must pay for the gas that you use weeks prior to sending out your bill. We are not a heartless company but if I do not collect the money for the gas that you have used then I will not be able to stay in business very long. We are not a monopoly If you do not like the natural gas services that we provide or that the services are too high for you There are other options, like ************ and or propane. We are a not-for-profit corporation therefore we do not have financial means to allow our customers to go without paying for the services and the gas that they have received. If you have any concerns or comments, you're always free to contact my office at ***********. And ask to Talk to the general manager.
