Outdoor 79” Bench. The total cost was $1610.00 for the bench and ***** shipping. The box was delivered on 3/16/23. The box, with the unassembled bench, arrived in damaged condition (please refer to photos). The ***** delivery employee took all paperwork with him. Moreover, the box/unassembled bench was extremely heavy and l am recovering from a fractured hip, so there was no way that l could take the bench out of the box by myself. I did contact **** ******** at Bon Marche to explain that the box was damaged and he just brushed it off. I was stunned at his total lack of concern, On 3/23/23, my gardener and his team came to unpack the box and assemble the bench. **** ******** had previously promised to assist ,via FaceTime, with how to assemble the bench. However, when l called him, he hung up on me stating that he refused to help via FaceTime. Fortunately, the gardening team, was able to assist with the assembly on their own. Unfortunately, the bench had been damaged in transit ( please refer to the attached photos/videos).l sent **** ******** the same videos/photos but he ignored them until the following day when l said that l had no choice but to file a complaint with the BBB. At this point, he sent me several threatening text messages to the point where l had to block his phone number as it was so upsetting! I have saved every text interaction that has occurred between myself and **** ******** at Bon Marche Santa Fe. I would like to have the two damaged areas, as seen in the photos/videos repaired and the repair costs paid for by Bon Marche.
