3 years or so ago I took a loan out with this place. I didn't realize how much interest was-I thought I was paying it down but it just seem to stay the same amount. I wasn't working a full time job at the time. I couldn't keep up with the payments so I stop paying almost a year into paying. The amount I initially took a loan out is now almost triple that amount. I was so disgusted. So going forward now, I have received on a weekly basis anywhere between 10-15 calls and they have filled up my voicemail box. This loan place did not know where I currently work because at the time I wasn't working at this job when I took the loan out. Now on March 7, 2023, they called my place of employment asking to speak to my boss. I was not in the office at the time and my assistant informed me today. So I called the loan office from my personal cell phone and asked them to not call my place of employment and I hung up after I spoke with the lady who did not give me her name. She called me back immediately to my personal cellphone. I did not answer. She then calls my office and my Admin Assistant picked up and informed her not to call this business number. The lady said she needed to speak to the manager or supervisor in order to stop calling and hung up. I returned her call from my office number and informed her that I am the Assistant Manager and I am letting her know that my Admin Assistant informed her not to call here and I am now telling her to please STOP calling our law office. I informed her that she now harassing and intimidating me at work and trying to get my manager involved in my personal affairs. I asked her again, to stop calling the law office. She said she was only calling for work verification so she can start garnishment proceedings. I said ok, you have work verification now so stop calling. She said she can call as many times as she wants it's not harassment and she said she will continue to call my place of employment. This is harassment and intimidation.
