      They have been hounding us about a bill that was paid 6 mo ago. Unorganized!! We were in NM from CA 12/2022 and my husband became ill. We have ****** which was not available so we went to the urgent care at Presbyterian. ****** paid all bills in January and continue to confirm payment with them but they continue sending another bill every couple months. They are completely incompetent and unorganized.

      Presbyterian Sleep Lab where not even aware of a device called REMEDE that has been installed by a group of cardiologists at ********, *********** for over a year. This device is specifically for patients who have severe CENTRAL APNEA. I had to do the research, find *****************, and ADVISE PRESBYTERIAN OF THIS NEW LIFE SAVING TECHNOLOGY! How in the world can you run a sleep lab, treat patients, and NOT not know about this technology. I then requested a referral by Pres to see a ******** cardiologist but they sent me a referral to see a Pres cardiologist that has nothing to do with REMEDE. They are total INCOMPETANTS!!!

      I was on the phone with the ******************** Center discussing a situation that has been dragging on since last July. In July of last year I was diagnosed with Severe Central Sleep Apnea. I was told that after a simple MEP/MIP test I would be prescribed the proper sleep machine for this condition.Apparently the person I was working with quit Presbyterian and I was left hanging. I am currently working with someone who is wonderful and was fianlly prescribed the correct machine. Months later nothing has happended only to find the compay that was to fullfill this prescription has it on back order. They STILL cannot give me a firm date for delivery. I must emphasize I am suffering due to this condition. My carrer, my personal and home life, my very quality of life is in the tank due to my severe lack of sleep.I called the office at ******* to inquire if I could just order this machine online as everyone seems to have stock. The receptionist became very unprofessional. I then aksed her if there was someone else I could speak with. She replied in a clearly condescending tone that *************** (chuckle) there is not. I informed her that I could find another number. I thought hospitals were places of compassion? Clearly not at the ******************** Center.For such a severe condition, Presbyterian has truly dropped the ball. I can understand that a person left. I can understand that the pandemic has made many things difficult. What I cannot tolerate is someone trivializing my condition and laughing over the phone. I have the best, most expensive plan that Presbyterian offers. My sleep situation is so bad I have minor hallucinations and cannot concentrate. My quality of life has plummeted to the point I am quite despondent. 8 months is a very long time. Clearly someone(s) have been negligent here, and it isn't me the patient.
