    To Whom it may Concern; I placed an order today December 25, 2021 at 5:50pm for a total of $40.21 with a card. The order was completed for pick up and was to be ready by 7pm. I arrived at Popeyes at 6:40pm and went up to the entrance door of the restaurant to find out that it was closed. No notes or information about the pick up was at the door or on an email or website. I tried calling the store but the phone was busy. I tried for five minutes without response. I approached the drive-through window and asked the person helping there. That person said that we had to go through the drive-through line even though it was a pick up order. Went to the back of the drive-through lane and waited for our turn. By the time we arrived at the ordering speaker it was 7:56pm. Soon after, the person informed us there was no food and they could not provide us the food. I explained to the person that we had already paid for the food and the order was supposed to be ready. The person replied that they did not have it and could not return the money. At that point I asked to talk to the manager and was informed to drive up to the window and that I would be able to talk to the manager. Once at the window I asked for the name of the person in charge and they refused to give me that name. I then asked to talk to the manager and was informed that we would be at the window to talk to me. I waited 20 minutes. The staff cleaned around and then completely secured the drive-through window. At no point I was informed of the name of the manager, given any money back, or a return of the money was initialed. No information about the return was given either. Furthermore, the staff at the store thought the circumstances were funny since we got mocked for it. At no point I was unprofessional or rude to anyone. Their behavior and actions were completely unprofessional. Would like to get my money back and for the person in charge to face consequences due to the lack of professionalism.

    The general manager there hired his own mother and made her a manager at that location within a couple months of her employment, she is rude and treats everyone there very poorly. Many complaints from employees have been submitted to the gm (her son) and he never does anything about it. I have filed some complaints about her how she mistreated me and the gm there always has something irrelevant to say and then discounts the original complaint. I did let him know I would stop listening to his mother (a manager) if and when she spoke to me because of how rude she was to me all the time. I did so and I was suspended for 7 days with no warning. There was an excuse that was made up by the gm saying that I was joking about a special needs employee there, at which time I told him that was incorrect, that I joke WITH that employee and not about him, and that other employees make jokes about that employee behind his back and make mocking sounds, imitating that employee. He proceeded to tell me that I also got a complaint from his manager (his mom) about making gestures to her and that it will not be tolerated. He proceeded to tell me that an anonymous investigation was going to happen and that he will reach out to me in 7 days. I told him that all I can hope and really would like is that the investigation maintains integrity throughout and he proceeded to tell me to not tell him how to do his job, which was really weird. I also told him that hopefully other people will either get warnings or receive a similar suspension because of these accusations since there will be an investigation being held. Its been a total of 8 days and I haven not heard back from him concerning any update on said investigation. Other employees there will also confirm that him hiring his own mother and protecting her from all of the complaints is unfair, but will cast out anyone who she seems to have a complaint about.
