            Ruby Canyon Dental is polite, friendly, clean, and efficient. However, they charged me double what my insurance said I should pay. More than a month after getting my filling and paying for it, I called to find out why I was charged almost double. They said my insurance had not paid them or sent them an estimate of benefits. I called insurance, and they said they had processed the claim 5 days after my visit to the dentist. I had to call the dental billing office 4 more times before they accepted my call and agreed to refund my over-payment. I wonder what would have happened if I had not brought this to their attention. I wonder how many other people are being over-billed. Somehow, it doesn't seem above-board to me. Why was I overcharged in the first place? Why did I have to do all the work to get my refund? Ruby Canyon Dental did not seem very enthusiastic about correcting their error.
