This company didn't show the 1st day they were supposed to measure, then took 4 days to return a phone call. They came out to measure then a couple of weeks later, after multiple unreturned calls for the status of the counter tops, they called to schedule install. I was never asked to pay a deposit. 2 workers arrived late,both smelling strongly of marijuana, My office is close to my kitchen, I heard everything going on during the install including comments from the workers about incorrect measurements. I saw the largest counter hanging over the edge by about 6". They took it outside to "fix" and got stuck in my doorway by the front door, damaging the frame. 1 worker showed me another section that was not measured right and told me the person who measured, "forgot to measure behind a section of cabinet that stuck out, he must have thought that piece went all the way back". He said he would have to use a piece of back splash and "try to make it work". Because of all of the extra work they had to do, they ended up being there all day, AFTER turning the water off to my house for the entire day. I found caulk smeared in areas all over the counter top, sawdust everywhere, screws on the floor, the damage to my doorway and the funky piece of backsplash against the counter, still sticking out past the cabinet. I emailed them with complaints and was told that nothing was measured incorrectly because the owner did, they ALWAYS put backsplash against cabinets like that and nothing was wrong with the job. The lady in the office was very rude and said if I didn't pay the invoice in full within 4 days or they will get a lawyer. I was also accused of "eavesdropping on the installers" and refusing to pay the deposit prior to counter tops being made. I have never tried to get out of paying this company, but given the shoddy work and the damage to my home, I did ask for a small discount. Instead I was gaslighted, saying that nothing I said ever happened.
