I hired **** ******* JULY 2022 to build a small laundry room about 5 x 7. He wrote on the contract that certain things would be done by the end of July 2022. He took 5500 from me. It is Nov now. He has not done what he said were going to be done by the end of July. It is NOv now and 30 Each week he would say, "next week" or he would say "I will be there by 9 and either show up about 4 or never show at all. Everything that he has done is crooked like the cement, the framing and the unfinished roof. He has come to start a job only FOUR full days. The framing has 6 inch gaps between the walls, floor, and ceiling. He still has not finished the roof. The plans said two windows to be put in. He lost his draft because he said they were not in there and he has to charge me more money. Finally I sent him the pictures in the draft and he said he didn't know. He cut holes for a window but he cut out it out 8 inches extra. He left me now in November with 30 degrees at night with an open hole in the wall. He keeps blaming the workers but he is never here when the workers are here. They ask for certain materials they need and either he will not buy them or buy the wrong ones. He keeps asking me for money and he threatens me with "The job will take longer if you don't give me more money". I have all his texts were he is asking for money and how he kept saying "next week I'll be there" and then never shows. I have pictures of all the wrong things he has done and the holes between the walls, ceiling and floor. The inspector came and gave him lots of corrections. He says "do you really need insulation under the floor?" He does not even have TOOLS. He asked for some NAILS because he did not want to buy them. When he buys anything it is the wrong thing or a crooked thing or not bring anything at all and expect the workers to stand around while he goes to **** ***** and brings the wrong items. I will take him to court if you cannot help me.
