    Good Day,My Name is *************************** I'll called in today April 26, 2024 at 1:40pm to ************.The call lasted 13 minutes 8 of which was hold time.Let this email serve as proof that I am concerned about the item I installed on my truck and I am requesting a return and full refund of $******. The item, 1- Banks Tuner. Order Number 50333603.I spoke with **. He did apologized for the long hold time and said it was because he had to call ***** and approve the return. He asked for proof that the Tuner was not working on my vechiel.So here's the story.I read the directions twice over before connecting this to my truck First thing, connect the Tuner to the ** and check for updates.Then Plugged in the Tuner to the *** port and followed the prompts on the Tuner. Two times I repeated the process. Even called Technical Support earlier this week, the person I spoke with, (sorry didn't get his name) had no idea what was wrong, sounded very confused and in the end blamed it to be something wrong with my truck.So much for help from Technical support. So, after the tune is installed the truck would run fine, until you shut it off.At that next startup it would crank over longer than usual, like it was struggling..When it finally caught it would idle up and down sporadically, then stall. When trying to restart it was dead, Nothing, no dash lights, dead, nothing worked, no crank, nothing!Only way to restart the truck was to disconnect the battery and reset the computer. So when this happens, on that next start, after installing the Tune, you could hear the computer in the truck running with a distinctive sound that was not usually there The only other time I heard this sound is when the programmer was plugged in and working obviously work on changing the program on the truck So after that was completed the computer would silence.. Until the second start up when thing start to act crazy and then the truck would die. Disconnect the battery again, Resets the computer and the truck operates properly. So that's how I'm going to leave, it. There has been no more issues with the truck back to factory settings. So to **'s point, there's your proof.I am not going to install this again and risk any damage to my truck You state on your website there is a 30 days return policy. I have only had the item for 12 days, most of which was all dealing with the inconvenience. The first time it happened I took me a while to figure out that disconnecting the battery would reset the truck and I missed work stranded in my driveway. If you have to check with ***** that's your deal, Take back the Tuner I bought from you, CARiD and deal with *****, leave me out of it.,since I did not purchase it from Banks. That's the price of doing business. I bought the Tuner from you and you should honor your return policy. Please provide the *** and directions for the return. Also provide proof from Affirm that my bank account will not be drafted starting 4-16 thru ***** for $88.80 Stating I will receive a full refund of $ ****** Thank you for understanding, as if this was your own TRUCK and how you would want this handled. I hope we do not have to take this any further *************************** ******** Services LLC.************

    I ordered a part for a 2012 Prius but the part didn't fit. Turns out different parts were used on 2012 Prius vehicles but this wasn't clear from the website nor do they have a way to check vehice VIN to confirm "fitment." CarID will deduct their shipping cost and charge a restocking fee to my refund. I didn't know were in bankruptcy but it makes sense.
