    My daughters 2017 Honda HRV has inferior white paint that was under a 7 year extended warranty because it was chipping so badly. I brought this to DCHs attention on 12/22/23 when I visited the dealership service department and the rep. took pictures(timestamped). He told me they would repaint the car in January and he would handle it and contact me in January. I did not hear back from him by mid-January, so I called dealership and they denied the fact that I had been there, no one remembered dealing with me. I called Honda corporate and after several calls, the service manager reviewed the camera footage for that day and saw me at the dealership. The ***** ******* was able to find the pictures and they told me they would contact corporate about this. Two weeks ago, the liaison from corporate told me that it was not enough to let me know about the issue prior to the warranty expiration date, 12/31/23, I had to have the work done prior to the expiration date. They have been deferring this for the last three months and now they are not even doing a good will contribution to this paint replacement, which the liaison informed me of today.

    I am definitely the type of person who shops multiple car dealerships, both online and in-person. Buying a new car is too big an investment not to. Over the past decade or so, no matter where I compare prices, I always end up buying my new Honda from DCH Honda in *********. Beyond the fact that they always end up giving me the best deal, the people at DCH are great. They treat me with respect and show true interest in making the car buying experience as best as possible. I recently bought a 2023 HRV from DCH, while trading in my Honda Pilot that I also had purchased from their dealership. They gave me the best price for my trade-in and the best price on my new car. My salesperson ****** handled the process which started in early July that ended in mid-September quite well. He called me about a half-dozen times to keep me regularly updated with the build, shipping, and delivery of my car. ****** explained all the features and took time to make sure that I understood all that my new car had to offer. ***** in finance handled the paperwork, which by the way is mostly not paper as it is done electronically. A special note about ****** the sales manager. ****** stepped in back in July when there was a not so minor issue with the deal and handled the issue quite well. Then when I picked up the vehicle with my family in September, he helped push the deal through and across the finish line as my trade-in needed one final evaluation. He took time to meet my family and had a really nice conversation with us. We talked about my three teenage children who one day soon may be DCH Kay Honda customers.All in all, DCH KAY Honda in ********* made me feel like a valued customer and is a dealership that I would strongly recommend for your next Honda purchase!
