i purchased $263 in potted plants/flowers from this garden store early spring of 2022. 2 of the plants were philodendrons costing about $80 each. At purchase i was told they had not bloomed although 1 seemed to be beginning to bloom. 2 days after purchase the one that seemed to be blooming began to ****. I took pics and sent them via email to business after notifying them by phone. I got reassurance that they were being cared and receiving what they needed as far as sun and water. Within a week the one that seemed to be blooming did die and the second never bloomed at all. Again, i was reassured that both would bloom and i just needed to be patient. i was even told if the bloom did not happen it would in the spring of 2023 because they return every year. Needless to say, both died within a few weeks. never bloomed and did not bloom at all in 2023. After a few attempts to reach out to business they stopped answering my calls and emails. I am a local guide with ****** Maps and you can review my frustration with the business in my review of them from last year. The business does not do refunds or exchanges but based on all the reviews from other customers the same issues are systemic from time of purchase to finding a resolution. This is a business who is blatantly taking advantage of its consumers. The fact that they do not exchange or give refunds knowing they sold a bad product is unacceptable and this bad business practice needs to be addressed.
