My car has been having mechanical and electrical problems for upwards of 3 years now. It would not give error codes and my mechanic tried to diagnose it many times with no luck until recently. Recently the problems became much worse with the vehicle not turning on at all or frequently stalling and many lights turning on and off. I brought it to a specialty dealership to have it diagnosed and it was found to have a corroded engine wire harness from water damage. Due to the location it was hard to find and diagnose. The corrosion is behind the glove box to the left somewhat behind the stereo. The Mechanic states this is from a faulty windshield and safelight is denying that is the case and not taking ownership. Safelight came out and replaced the windshield without water testing it first and did not want to see the damage to the wire harness. I have had multiple windshields replaced on this vehicle all by safelight and have trusted their work for years. I am very disappointed in the lack of ownership from the damage caused to my vehicle and would like for safelight to cover the cost of repair. Of note I was unable to choose a specific location on the BBB website. this is a complaint about the ****** ** store as well as a location in *** ****.
