Good morning to whom it may concern on February 2, 2024 I drop my vehicle to Bridgestone/ Firestone shop here in Vegas for Repairs. I am knowledgeable of the company since I used them for two decades with different vehicles. The present vehicle was being towed because the engine would not turn over. I informed that to the technician at the time of drop off my car set in the shop over 10 days because of personal issues they came up with one of the mechanics that was working on the vehicle. When the mechanic came back, I was instructed to get a new battery and a tuneup. The reason for this they tried multiple times to start the vehicle and it kept misfiring continuously try to start the vehicle just to put it inside the stall of the shop. I was not understanding why would you continuously start the After saying that it was a misfiring. Portion of the front engine was removed, and in cab area they detach spark plugs with other components. I can’t name from the engine. I was informed a spark plug. Number one spark plug on the left side damaged the engine even after finding the damage they continuously was starting up the vehicle with only four spark plugs on the right side. I’m sorry the vehicle is a 2009 ***** express G3500. This is a eight cylinder vehicle. The engine is a 6.0 Vortech. After mechanic showing me the damage that the spark plug did on the left front side, he also showed the hole that was in the compressor valve. At the time I was unsure what I was going to do with the vehicle if I was going to keep it or do a total loss eventually, I decide to keep the vehicle. I went to the location to retrieve the engine was still disassembled and there was no battery. Their battery I did not purchase the previous battery was in good condition. I contact corporate to file a claim had a very brief conversation with a John ** T**** he denied the claim verbally I requested for a letter in writing he’s refusing to provide this letter.
