ASP mechanical of ****** ** will not service my a/c heat pump due to "tampering" with the system. The a/c was icing over on the A coil in my furnace on labor day weekend. I checked the air vents and returns and the temps in the house and had to clean the A coil with approved coil cleaner, They sent out ***************** to check if everything was ok, and he checked things out and said it was ok. They then denied my warranty contract for my extended warranty. I contacted them multiple times and as of today they said they are denying service due to tampering with the system. I am a maintenance worker for the *********** and have training in cleaning and maintaining a/c and heating systems. I do not work on the a/c gas side of maintenance and I do not know why this deny of service is happening. They have did all warranty and gas adjustments. They would not give me any one to talk to about this, and are being evasive about any kind of answer. They said everyone is "unavailable". It makes no sense that cleaning a coil would void any service contract since that is part of maintenance of a a/c system. I never dealt with any a/c gas or any of that since that is their job, and I do not have proper EPA license and will not do that. It has came to a stale mate with them and need help with how to resole this issue. I have a extended labor and parts warranty that is in effect *********** **** and this appears to be a violation of that.
